I have been quoted late Feb for the AE.

Thank you for your enquiry into the highly anticipated 30th Anniversary MX-5.
I can confirm that we have begun to take orders and the current lead times are between 2-3 weeks.
Going by what the article and others have said, it wouldn’t surprise me if the dealer has just made a simple mistake, and put ‘weeks’ instead of ‘months.’As in:

Update - just been advised 2/3 estimate was miscommunication from Mazda U.K.! June is correct.

Should be dark green, beige canvas top. Wooden steering wheel, BBS (or at least, styled like) alloys.
Mazda tried that & many just laughed. It was a pathetic attempt to emulate proper BRITISH sports cars of the past & for the Japs to do it was doubly insulting. SFO said:
what will discounts be like?
Won't get much off the 30th Anniversary. You can easily get £3k off a normal model. I know I did on my Sport Nav, so all the nice extras (BBS wheels, aero kit, alcantara kit, lowering springs, sports backbox, sports pedals) were free and it was still cheaper than list!Edited by Ali_T on Tuesday 16th July 16:17

Very nice. I like the looks of this generation of MX5, and orange with black wheels does make it stand out well. If I were in the market for a new car I'd strongly consider one of these.
You only live once, go for it! I came from a Giulia QF to an optioned Sport Nav and not a day has gone by when I've missed the Alfa.....or the Alfa dealers! Brilliant, brilliant little car. spikyone said:
£28k for an MX5? Don't get me wrong, I like the MX5 and this looks like a great package, but that seems a bit steep for something that's better described as an options pack than a true upgrade.
It was pricey from day one with the Mk1 if I remember correctly.Buying new is just plain stupid unless you have money to burn. Being so popular there is always a good used choice including dealer demonstrators when they come up although often pre-sold to favoured customers.
