Saw this on Facebook.

For some reason it really appeals. Shame its an Auto and I'm not sure if the price is a tad optimistic.

Is there a huge demand for T5s and Rs then? And autos at that.

That Jensen is lovely.

As I get older I'm starting to appreciate the cars of the late 50's and early 60's so much more.

Dynamically and performance wise they were over shadowed by their successors but so many of them are just so right.

In a world where speed is becoming almost impossible to enjoy without getting caught I do wonder if I'd take more pleasure owning something like that than a faster neo-classic where the frustration of speed limits and traffic would sap so much from the experience.

That Jensen, a wicker hamper, a suitable female companion and a day on the coast...

Hello friends wavey

Been a while (again!). Hope you're all surviving through this Covid malarkey.

Was very sad to read about Specialist Cars Malton. My Mum lives down the road. A great place when Mark was there at least.

Anyway, nowt much to report other than a new acquisition:

And before I had it delivered, the car was sent off to Renntech to get sprinkled with some of their magic fairy dust.

Now makes just shy of 700bhp smile

Personally very glad they’ve shut down.
Fingers crossed for the honest ones but it’s very well documented how much of a fraudster the owner was.

Nice E63, should be fun with 700bhp! We didn't get the 4Matic over here, does it still allow for a bit of tail out fun?

Honestly, I haven't ventured there yet. But given that there is actual torque steer at 100mph+ when I give it the Berties, I can only imagine how quickly I'd end up in the scenery if it was 2WD!

Last one (with NA V8) was however, a playful old girl.

The 2 I could actually fit in are both fabulous.

The Merc is 80's wafting perfection.

The 944 Turbo Cup is a total click-bait. Given the mileage and provenance, this would normally be a EUR 100k car. The guide is there to attract a bidding war...
