Don’t think there’s been much Saab content on here lately, so will just place this here (auto and 4-dr noted): https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C1434861

Nice to see one in such good condition but I find the saloons very awkward looking...
I think the looks are all part of their charm, my favourite 900 is the 2 door with a boot although admittedly it's only slightly less gawky than the 4 door.

If that were the Turbo it'd be mega. Still quite appealing as an old school barge though.

Don't worry, I'm a tad short of the asking price laugh

996’s take stick for their headlight design, but good god, the shut lines of the bonnet/wing/bumper on a 993 are truly horrendous… don’t notice them so much on dark colours, but they are really visible on that yellow car.

Lovely arse…. Though not lovely enough to justify £75k laugh

It’s interesting to see those lines on the 993 and 968 and how they are the origin of the original lights shape of the boxster and 996.

I know of similar cars with a higher agreed insurance value, so I don't think the prices will likely fall too far?
We are at the "find another one" stage when it comes to pricing good standard examples of 964/993?

I do like the ad description "paintwork maintains a lustful shine". I've never experienced lustful paintwork before but I'm intrigued.

Considering who's selling it, I didn't think the price was too punchy. A rough manual 993 Coupe seem to be deep in to the £40k mark, it's done nice miles and is in a great colour. I also don't think you'd lose money on it either.

Still needs some wheel and height changes though biggrin

Well here’s an unusual one - someone has taken the best parts of an E30 B6 3.5S and an E34 B10 BiTurbo and put them together: https://m.mobile.de/auto-inserat/alpina-b6-3-5s-bi...

Bot a fan of some of the small details (bonnet badges/rear lights, etc), but overall this must be a bit of a weapon

Apparently the work of an Alpina engineer though this was vociferously shouted down on the more angsty part of Alpina Facebook.

Another one of the MC/Strada what might have beens.

Lovely, but getting a B10 BiTurbo engine to perform as it should is a dark art and only fixable by a vanishing small number of knowledgeable practitioners - I’d rather the more anonymous B6 3.5 if I had to pick a Buchloe E30 or the E36 B8 4.6 if I had to pick a 3 series Alpina.

Well whoever did it put a bit of effort in by the looks of it. Those seats are some of my favourites, and interesting that it has both the E34’s digital readouts ones the dash and the E30’s vent gauges

A pity indeed Nathan, especially if there had been a way to team this up with one of the Hartge H35-24s cool

If I ever decide to change my weekend wagon, it’ll be for a B8 Touring I reckon. I do quite fancy both another Alpina and another V8 engine

Assuming you mean the E36 then I've never seen one, do they exist?
