I have no idea how they have the audacity to charge £10m over a Chiron. It's body panels ffs. With the advances in carbon fibre it sure as st isn't costing that much more to make it.
Why should you care? It wasn't made for you and you're obviously not buying the car!

I don't think Mr Piech (or indeed whoever the buyer is) is too bothered by the price, especially if he had it commissioned. And what about the Rolls-Royce Sweptail, built for a single client, just like this Bugatti? Did that not cost around £11-13 million? Or do you think that's a rip-off too?
No one mentioning this?

Grumpy old man time...

I just cannot for the life of me get excited by this Bugatti. For some weird reason, Jimmy G's car seems a lot more interesting. I think I never really appreciated the big Bug; all turbos and brute force, made at a loss, as a technical exercise in high speed. Yeah, whatever...? I mean, theres only so fast you can go on public roads, so it's USP seems a little redundant.

Have they actually painted the tyres silver to make the wheels look bigger? wobble
Hard to see with the ridiculously tiny pictures PH insists on using. Finding an adult-sized pic says yes:

Good to see VW learning from their customers...

Ha! I hadn't noticed that painted tyre detail, but oh dear, that just seems so naff on such a car as this.

Ferdinand Piech's ego has no bounds. This guy is as dread full as the shamefull monkey gasing company he runs. still, it looks pretty good...

It’s better looking than a “normal” Chiron to my eye but the original is far prettier and more interesting.

Personally, I’d rather have the Koenigsegg Jesko and a very serious collection of cars with the other £7 million quid!

Surely every petrolhead should admire what this stands for??

Or is sounding cool on a forum or down the pub getting in the way of something very very special?

"oh I don't get it" says a man with a diesel insignia 🙄

Totally. Unless they’re envious .

Serious question. What does it stand for in your mind?

I'd be quite interested to know what this car stands for too. As I mentioned above, I don't dislike it but I'm not really very taken with it either, lots of only hypercars I'd much rather for the money than this. I don't think that makes me envious.
