When I read threads like this i do wonder whether PH needs to do a cull of members to get rid of the non-PistonHeads

Why can people not get excited when a British car manufacturer announces its going to produce a carbon-tubbed 1000bhp mid-engines hypercar with input from Red Bull?

I don’t care if you don’t like the looks, that’s subjective. But if a small part of you doesn’t get a little bit excited by the prospect of seeing these out on the road then maybe you’ve come to the wrong forum!

I agree with this. So many people nowadays just jump on anything just to slate it.

So much negativity in the world right now. frown

They should have called it the AM Duckbill, or Platypus.
Yeah, I'm really struggling to like the front section.

It is clear to see how a once great empire, one where the sun never set, has now disappeared.
We are the greatest nation in the world for invention and entrepreneurs......undermined by small minded, jealous and inadequate individuals.
We should all celebrate the fantastic achievements that continue to produce ground breaking and world leading development in engineering.
We may not always approve of every new development, but often I suspect the same Skoda worshipping keyboard warriors are the first in line to denigrate and undermine our country’s achievements.
What is it in our make up,that unlike in many societies applauds success and entrepreneurship, the British now seem to regard this with jealousy and hostility.

Love it. It'll be interesting with everything they learn from Valkyrie I wonder if this doesn't turn out to be the 'better' car, whatever that means at this level.

As a international forum user, I can only state how much I agree and that this behaviour is utterly baffling to me. It is something of a massive face-palm.

News: British team ***** won the world championship in *****
PH forum: I don't like the font of the numbers on their shirts.

Or in this case, 'I don't like the colour of the steering wheel' ... Is that the best you can come up with?? You know it is possible to change the colour, right?? Of course with such an attitude, will never be in such a actual position...

Deep sigh

Agreed. Some of the incredible stuff being churned out lately only to be met by some simpleton who's response is "zzzzzzzzzz" or the like. Really, fk off to mumsnet.

I actually sat in that very car today. It was in the Red Bull rRacing factory.
It’s not an easy car to get into. Harder than my Elise anyway. biggrin
