Have i missed where in the article it states they are setting out to make the ultimate drivers car or the best possible experience?

It sounds more like they just want to make something cool, bonkers, and a little bit special. Personally i can't see where the 1m goes in this - i can't see the value in singer either - but I'd love to give it a go, and would hope it's an absolutely ridiculous riot, rather than driving perfection.

If you've got a million to blow on a toy like this, you'll have all other driving bases covered anyway

I have conducted a regression analysis on your comments about my Vulcan heritage, and have chosen to perceive them as a compliment.

However, I would simply ask you this: I can measure and define an engine on a dyno; how do YOU measure and define art?

You should read the article on the McLaren ex employees website about driving the original car back from Stuttgart in the early 80's. Two were made, one for Mansour Ojjeh and one for Ron Dennis. Both still live in Woking and one came back by road......madness.

Discount given if someone with deep pockets and a LOT of time fits in a Caterham.

Who though a 930 was a bit hairy...?
With a detuned 80s F1 turbo in the back this will be peak power all over.
I bet there's no 4 speed to be found...

Bit of a thread resurrection, these amazing things must be getting out there, simply too rare to be reviewed by anyone? I watched Jodie Kidd in one with Dean Lanzante driving but of all the Singers, restomods etc these have to be the greatest for me.
