Nice car and i can see why it reviews well. sadly in the UK this type of AMG in particular is driven by too many tools the image is appallingly bad.
Agree with this, almost stopped me buying one!Not often the silver car is the exciting one in the picture, but that’s one exciting AMG coupe.

Nothing like a judgemental fool to ruin these threads.
Thats all it takes to ruin your mood fool? Bit sensitive there, eh bud? Yes the Stang, the Camaro and generally the americans are more honest when it comes to their exhaust sounds. This crackling BS is just pure kitsch, its annoying and screams for attention in all the wrong ways, in other words "asozial" (auf deutsch).

Funnily enough my comment wasn’t aimed at you. But crack on my friend...flatso said:

Funnily enough my comment wasn’t aimed at you. But crack on my friend...I bought a new but pre-reg pre facelift coupe (not an ‘s’) in June 18, got around 25% off list. It’s a far more exciting and engaging car than the F80 M3 it replaced, which wasn’t a patch on my old e46 M3.
I test drove a Mustang prior to buying the Merc - it was cheap inside and handling was vague.
Driving the Merc does put a smile on your face - the V8 rumble is not contrived or fake in the same way the F80s piped in sounds were, and it goes like stink.
Image - ah, which car brand doesn’t have people driving it you rather weren’t?
Won’t go into the cheap shot PCP jibes - which apply to any make - sufficient to say if you can cover the monthlies and the back end then you’re protecting yourself against depreciation. Burnt myself too many times buying cash then being unable to offload. But my monthlies are very manageable.
It’s all about managing your own financial situation - not that PCP is ‘good’ or ‘bad’ per se any more than a mortgage is.

Question is how can they buy such a pricy car in the first place?I’ve not seen many / any C63 drivers tooling about in real life (yes YT offers countless examples but I don’t see any of it).

Funnily enough my comment wasn’t aimed at you. But crack on my friend...Now go play with the other underdeveloped parts that you may still find when looking hard.

Absolutely gorgeous!! Struggling to think of a coupe I'd rather have than this if I had the money.
This big bruiser reminds me in some ways of the classic 1980s Merc AMG Hammer. I loved those too as a teenager!
Hold out for a used one - they will drop in value and if it is the car you want...This big bruiser reminds me in some ways of the classic 1980s Merc AMG Hammer. I loved those too as a teenager!
C43 is a cheaper option.

Not sure that is aligned with your comments on the DR520 thread is it!?
Hopefully a used one of these won’t cost as much as that as it’s not got even more silly letters after it’s model and engine varient. At ten years old they’re a £10k to £12k car not a £27k. Some chump actually forked out big mullah for that old C class.

Would love to find an unmolested 10 year old C63 for £10-12k. Can you post some ads please...?
I’m not the one who wants one. You are. Best get looking if you want one. There are many cars I would rather drive.
