What can you fit in your car
Discussion
There must be a thread on this somewhere. I couldn't find it.
Anyhow, the "Porsche 992 911 convertible" thread is presently posting pics of what you can fit in your Cayman. (Along with someone discussing that a Lexus/ Toyota is the best car in the world.. something entirely bizarre.)
Reminded me of a road trip we did around Europe. This is what we managed to get into the Elise.

Skoda Superb fits pretty much everything in it. Not even the estate model!
Going to a wedding in Devon last year, I had in the car: Wife, daughter in car seat, mother in law. Wife's handbag, mother-in-law's handbag and baby change bag in the cabin of the car
In the boot... baby pram, folded travel cot, two suitcases, a suit carry case, two dresses carried in similar fashion. Hatbox. Shoes in boxes. A box with a glass vase that my m-i-l had bought for her sister.
Parcel shelf was only slightly askew, which bugged me every time I looked in the mirror!!

No pics, but I got a dismantled wardrobe and chest of drawers plus a bunch of other household stuff into the back of my old integra DC5 with ease... amazingly practical and big load space for the type of car. The rear seats fold flat and the boot is fairly deep, so you get a decent load area AND VTEC!
In my Mercedes S124 I got a Miele fridge-freezer in the back.
That car did have a passenger seat that folded flat which was brilliant for fetching skirting boards and the like from builder's merchants.
I could just fit a brompton in a Boxster front boot, and a christmas tree in the passenger side, with passenger. The roof did have to come down for that though :-D
