For that money I'd rather commission some old bloke in a shed to scratch build me something.
What a strange comment.

I've never known anyone post pics of their car (the Audi) as much as you.

Was just about to say the same thing. Fair play though for posting them on a thread about a Noble M600!

To play devil's advocate slightly, it *does* (imo) have an air of "kit car" in certain aspects of it's appearance, both internally & externally.

To be clear, I'm not saying it is - I know it isn't - but merely that to my eyes, it does kinda look like...

Wouldn't necessarily stop me from having one though!

Diplomatically put wink. I agree in respect of the interior - any of the latter day TVRs were more attractive inside IMO. I love the external styling however and no doubt it's an epic drive!

Not that I am in any way comparing Ultima with "some old bloke in a shed" but I wonder what you'd end up with if you went to Ultima with a budget of 165 grand? scratchchin
165 grand should get you a factory built 1020 HP Ultima Evo.

Come on dude, I littered my post with qualifications and spelled out that I don't actually regard it as a kit car smile

Wasn't directed at you per se Jimi.

Just something people should watch before spouting clichés.

I am 63 years old I am too old and don't need to or try to show off. If that's the consensus I will delete the post I was only trying to show what you can get for the money if you can afford such a car. It wasn't me that brought the R8 into the topic but I will not post anymore pics of the R8
or any others as it clearly taken not as I intended.... I apologise if posting too many pics of the car has wound people up as I say wasn't my intention. Oh and I haven't spat any dummies out way too old for that trust me.

British racing green carbon sport with some kind of brown/tan interior for me when my numbers come up! And many many track lessons to learn how to get the most out of it without having to change my pants every outing!

Don't worry about it mate! It's a car forum supposedly for car enthusiasts (and also apparently for Brexit enthusiasts who don't own / never talk about cars)

Great link, I've not seen this car in such close detail before.

I too think it looks a bit kit car in style from just the front end, every other angle it just screams quality supercar.

I love it.

If I had to buy a Lee Noble creation, I'd head straight for an Ultima GTR Evolution.

1000 bhp, 950 kg, £95,000 direct from the factory, and world records aplenty.

If I was in this sort of market I would definitely consider one of these. This thread got me looking back at Chris Harris' Drive video of it round the 'Ring along with an Atom v8. It seemed to be bonkers fast and really must be considered some kind of ultimate driver's car.

The looks are not great from the front but from every other angle looks pretty decent and I do wonder why they don't seem to have sold a few more of them.

But what about a Mclarren 720 for the same price? Can't be much between them from a performance point of view and the Macca has the badge, looks, backup, racing pedigree etc

There are probably more accomplished alternative but I'm guessing this car is more than a sum of it's parts, it seems to be one of those cars that gets under your skin everyone that's driven one rates it highly.

Also the fact that this persons selling to buy a more personalised new one then that kind of tells you all you need to know.

This is Ford GT money which is a car I really like (having been in a few & driven one) but I'd still buy the Noble.

if they are buying another why won't noble take this one back. I recall the pale blue one being reviewed way back when and it being very fast over a measured mile and the fact 650bhp is released via a switch like a jet fighter has. It is a great car but even if I won the lotto there are today many cars that will do 200mph plus and make me look like a driving god without the risk of crashing on a wet round about and a dealer service network that is nation wide. Sad but true spending a huge pile of cash on a car would make you consider these things.

One point thoguh does anyone know where all these limited exotic, Noble, Pagani, Ruf, Bristol, etc get serviced when many owners live in the ME.
