Best smoker barges 1-5 large [Vol 14]

Blimey, I didn't realise they were that cheap. I presume the first bill it throws at you is roughly what it cost?
I'd expect the best way to run one is to own two. Very, very appealing at that money. It's not really a proper car, IMO, but it's a brilliant bit of driveway swagger.
Yep, scam-tastic.
Maserati is up for less than half its worth, and that Daimler was advertised on a Jag forum at twice the price: https://forums.jag-lovers.com/t/daimler-double-six...

Worryingly cheap - looks like a scam
having had a look at the other vehicles for sale, they are all a little too cheap e.g. the converted VW transporter at £6k. In the pics of the cars, the backgrounds are all over the place.
I was told once of a scam where the scammer steals legitimate photos of cars and lists them up a little to cheap. When people call, they're told a deposit of £500/£250/£XX can take them off sale. Buyer pays deposit to secure a too good to be true deal, scammer makes away with the funds.
Be careful all

Just looked at the history of the seller, they haven't sold any cars previously. This looks like an account which has been compromised by a scammer:

Quite tempted by this E320 as for once it's not a million miles away from me (still a decent trek right enough). Although I have no need for it and no knowledge of them whatsoever.
What's the consensus on these cars/engines more generally (for future!)?

Generally, I'd not bother with a W211 of that age unless it were compellingly cheap, and that one isn't. I'd be looking for 2006-onwards (big update, avoids SBC issues, better electrics, almost entirely rust-free).What's the consensus on these cars/engines more generally (for future!)?

Overall, they're brilliant cars - I'm on my third - and they can carry mileage well. Find a decent indy and they're even reasonably cheap to run, though watch out for injector issues. That one has the very nice in-line six rather than the later 3.0V6, but I'd still go for a later car myself. And I'd say it's about 50% too expensive.
The straight-6 is worth having imho. Mine has been great, and without electrical malady so far.
That one doesn't have enough toys to justify the price though, there's enough of them about that you can be picky about colours/options.
Yep, definitely a scam by the sounds, how annoying. Sorry all, as you were!

Disturbingly cheap for one of those, have not seen one sub 9 with 100k more on. Where I'd love to be wrong, the Email in the body of the ad whiffs of scam to me. A quick look on AT tells me it should be twice the price.
I hope I'm wrong and there's a forecourt shot soon (and not a flatbed shot), or that the autocorrect offering of "foreclosure" not forecourt is also incorrect.
I think you're right. That Daimler seems too low the more I think about it. We must be cautious.I hope I'm wrong and there's a forecourt shot soon (and not a flatbed shot), or that the autocorrect offering of "foreclosure" not forecourt is also incorrect.

Praise is lavished upon these, but mine has been a lemon frankly. Purchased 3 years ago, it's a 2005, now with 130k miles on (100k at purchase). One owner from new, FSH. An estate. It has had both rear airsprings fail and replaced, the torque converter fail and replaced, endless other suspension components, and currently I've got a leaking injector (well it has leaked but local specialist now says it has resealed itself and doesn't want to risk removing it, but I am to keep an eye on it) and a dodgy turbo which throws occasional limp modes. Thermostat went. These are only the things I can remember. I'm coming close to hating it. It has cost me thousands. I live in fear of the SBC going mammaries skywards.Overall, they're brilliant cars - I'm on my third - and they can carry mileage well. I wish I'd bought a Mondeo.

The fact they've suddenly listed 600 assorted vehicles etc in a single day is a bit of a give away. As said, it's a hacked account being used by a fraudster. having had a look at the other vehicles for sale, they are all a little too cheap e.g. the converted VW transporter at £6k. Sounds bargey to me. Forecourt shot please sir.
Mostly likely being delivered to local family for short term storage in a week or so but here is the (garage) forecourt shot. I know, I know, it's supposed to be a petrol station forecourt and if I can get the salesman to oblige when he delivers it I will certainly do so for thread points. W00DY said:

From when Vauxhall made a desirable large car. Not sure what it is about these but I really like them, along with the Senator. Shame it's diesel but you can't have everything.

I've the facelifted estate version with those wheels which I think freshen the car up. You should be able to a facelifted one for around that price and more goodies in it.
Mine has the sunroof which I'm enjoying this fine weather. I don't like driving far with windows down, too noise, turbulent etc.
The panoramic roof would be better again! I've seen them on saloons but don't think I've seen it on my era of estate so maybe didn't come until the S212.

Blower motor request complexity stuff
What is your chassis number?Edit: I think it is A 124 820 06 08. Only used with Automatic Climate Control. Only used with dust filter. I don't think it actually makes any difference whether LHD or RHD. See here for various apparently compatible aftermarket equivalents: https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/oem/a124820060... including the Hella 8EW 009 159-711.
