Dirt cheap Vectra GSI, 58k, from a trader too, a bag.

Noone will want to pay £570 tax "for a Vauxhall" but the Insignia VXR is close to thread now, and this has a nice interior. £5495.

Yeah, bloody miles away from me too, and being car less it's a fair old trip to make to find out it's a rotter!

745i is at £670 on ebay. Dude with the £700 offer is still interested, he came last night and plugged in a reader to see the error codes, which has confirmed the gearbox is shafted in some way, so he looking how much he can source a replacement box for. All the while the ebay price creeps every closer to the £700 offer biggrin

I would honestly have an earlier Omega Elite/MV6 over that any day.

It looks so utter bland.

58k? I don't think so! Those seat bolsters, a cover over the steering wheel. The reg on it isn't a reg according to the dvla....

I like the look of this. The 3.2 is something of a Q-car as most people assume it'll be a diesel.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was genuine, the interiors in the GSI models are properly st. I came close to buying one a few years ago until I sat in it. The seats are very uncomfortable, "leather" is more like plastic, and it just felt tinny and cheap. Which is strange, because the bog standard SRI models are perfectly fine for what they are which much better seats.

That is lovely, maybe a bit ambitious on the price but manual avants don't come up very often.

Seen quite a few around here...all seem to have the factory rear spoiler.

In the mechanic's garage a couple of doors down I spotted what I think was a mid-green, non-metallic W114 through the window at the back!
I don't know how rust free the cars would be around here would be because they do get (as we have experienced! ) a lot of rain in these parts.

What an oddity in spec - cloth seats, no climate control, basic in every way, but a 3.0 I6 and an automatic? Wonder how that came to be, I can't imagine the supplying dealer was too happy about speccing that one up!

Still a total bargain at sub £1,500 if it checks out otherwise

Maybe the purchaser had a strict budget would stretch to either a well specified 520d or a poorly specified 530i. I know which I would choose.

I know I’ve said this before but it’s simply incredible that this was the car they decided was fit to replace the E39. Almost deliberately discordant. A complete disaster.

Simply horrid.

It's been a very, very long time since I went in an E60, and the one I last went in was a lot better specced than that.

But, E65 and E60 interiors weren't too dissimilar (from a layout perspective), as were E38/E39 interiors. The E65 interior is better laid out and more intuitive than the E38 in my opinion, having lived with both for about 3 years each. It may not look as pleasing to the eye for many, but in terms of layout and ergonomics, it was definitely superior in my opinion smile

I've seen a few Police BMWs like that, even the E39. A white 530i SE (you can't have a sport police car) with no leather (crims in the back can't have luxury) and little to no options. I think it was even a manual.

Sorry to hear the 745i is on ebay! Loved that car, I first bought it as an approved used car from bmw in 2008.

In better days during our euro road trip in 2010...
