Crazy how far head of its time that car really was - it was the first ever foray (to my knowledge, please correct me if I'm wrong) - into the four door "coupe" style which would only really take off with the Merc CLS more than 40 years later. I remember reading that they'd even have done frameless windows if they could get them to work!

How did it take 2 pages before a "banana" reference? If you make a car shaped like a banana, don't paint it yellow ffs. That is horrendous and I thought they would struggle to make anything as ugly as the A class and C class saloon.
