Citroen C6 is indeed a looker. And I always rather liked the Merc W124 (though mine was a wagon).

Why do people post such rubbish as this. No it doesn’t. Not unless you have a mental problem. Or is it just hyperbole begging for attention??

There are a lot of great looking cars that have been suggested. I'm going to put forward this rarity.

The Aston Martin Vantage Special Type I. One of 3 built.

The Jaguar XJ has to take the prize, but this version of the Cortina used to catch my eye whenever I saw one.

Also, I walked past the current 508 a couple of days ago and couldn't resist a closer look:

Sticking with Peugeot, no one has mentioned the 604 yet. It was very handsome:

The irony of you talking about someone else posting hyperbole for attention isn't lost on me.

Just beautiful.

Ok, as concept cars are in this now... the Ford 021C

The size of a mk1 Ford Ka, shown in 1999 (yes it's 20 years old), I think it still looks great as a little city car, and it would suit being a city EV now along the lines of the Honda Urban / E prototype. The concept had a 99bhp 1.6 Zetec auto.

The Impala ss in the purple candy over black they did looks like a car that the badass hero of a 90s action movie would drive. Guilty pleasure of mine 👍

How about the MKII Jag?
Only if it is finished in primer and has only one headlight: ideal for “making time” on the M1... 😁

The Xedos series was quite stylish as well, apart from the over-small grille.

I remember when the new 6 had just been released, Lady H was collecting her MX5 from the service department and this striking metallic blue saloon was sitting in the showroom and I was thinking "that looks like good". Over-exposure has since lessened its impact but I think it still looks good.
I had a Xedos 6 - the v6 was a cracking engine and it was quiet and taut with great body control, but you definitely felt the weight over the nose with initial understeer. Surprisingly big boot, too. Definitely needed larger diameter alloys to make it look proportionate - the standard ones looked like roller skate wheels. Always reminded me of a jag xk8 squished to be a saloon - pretty little thing.

Right, here’s the plan. First, we go in there and get wrecked, then we eat a pork pie, then we drop some Surmontil-50’s each. That way we’ll miss out on Monday and come up smiling Tuesday morning.

In recent memory, I've always thought this to be one of the best examples of a 'classic' saloon profile. Not gaudy like some other American saloons or too bland either, and would you look at those doorhandles!!

People posting BMWs, Audi’s and Mercs - sort yourselves out.

Anyway, surprised no one has posted this,

Or maybe they have and I haven’t noticed? Anyway, always lusted after one.

Good shouts on the Alfa’s and Jags. Excellent design aplenty.

I see them on the roads regularly and at a glance the design appears to have taken many ques from of the D3 Audi A8 and Bentley Flying Spur.
