At 30k this would make an interesting alternative to something like an Evora. However still a risky alternative. At 85k it is never going to sell and has been for sale for over a year at least.

Saw the original at the NEC and it looked better than this. Been for sale for years and not surprised at this price. £40k or less would be an interesting oddity but anything north of that is taking the proverbial.

Nice looking thing. Hard to justify over a Noble M12 at half the price though

This has been for sale forever.
at that price it'll be for sale for a very long time
You are both right.
It has been on sale for absolute ages - the first time I saw it was at £85k!

Pricing is always an issue with motors like these. Most just can't afford it, or choose something else more note worthy. laugh

I think that this, and the following Ginetta G60 are lovely looking things. No bloated proportions and silly vents etc, just a good size and design. It's a shame that Ginetta couldn't have done more with it. Proper marketing could have seen this take of nicely.

As a huge fan of mid-engine cars I had a good look at Ginetta G60. The reality of the car, despite some nice photos in car magazines, fell a very long way below what a buyer would expect for the money. IMO the asking price for the car was a country mile higher than anyone was ever likely to pay for it.

Artega GT (from Germany) was an all-round better proposition although it too was fearsomely expensive and the maker went bust.

The mid-engine sports car market is a tricky place and very few companies achieve worthwhile sales.

Mid-engine Corvette C8 due for launch in 2 months time!
