Not on a thread specifically about it no.
Well - as I am involved in this thread I will be correcting and commenting on any posts purporting the merits of a small photocopier salemans box with a small nasty diesel engine. It's not an enthusiasts car. It's a boring over priced pile of junk.

Standard? Come on - custard please.
The issue is with online we can all be anyone with anything or everything. Some believe people some doubt some lie some don’t Bizarrely for me I lied about a sales or repair scrapper 944 pile of junk and people went batst crazy as some username said some lies about a dirt cheap scrapper yet too end cars or what have you no one really challenged
I was fking asked to post up V5’s insurance documentations GDPR - oddly OHMODs didn’t jump in and stop any of that ..... say no more and when directly challenges with evidence of the exact crime why one has a 28 day ban and tother got zilch and many others got zilch is questionable. Maybe this is why Garlick is no longer on social media as it is he who delivered the ban and refused to replicate for identical. Transgressions. But hey life’s a funny old game isn’t it people getting keyboard warrior against a username they don’t know will never meet etc. Also seems people say a lot more aggressive things online and wouldn’t dream about saying it face to face... I’d have loved any of those 7-8 years ago saying what they did face to face.... say no more. They seem to think they can say and do anything without any recourse ... they are wrong.
As far as I can understand - you lied about having a car, and people called you out on it?

As the thread is about a 320d why would I?You on the other hand are just a troll. You whine to everybody about people being nasty about your car but are more than happy to throw playground insults around, ‘photocopier salesman’ wasn’t really that hilarious 20 years ago when Clarkson coined the phrase.
Oh. And custard on all your cars.

This is where you are going wrong, it isn't a ”boring over priced pile of junk". You don't like it for whatever reason, but that does not make it junk. A 320d is a very, very good car by most objective standards. It cost half as much as a LS460 and is way more than half the car. Yes you could buy a used Lexus, but you could save even more and buy a used 320d instead. Eventually that argument goes nowhere. I would never want one, but I can appreciate what it is.It's not an enthusiasts car. It's a boring over priced pile of junk.
It is not a driver's car as such, but it is arguably the most driver orientated car in its sector. Given its remit of sensible and economical 3 box car, it is a damn sight less boring than a Passat, Avensis, Mondeo, i40 etc etc.
Ditch the childish hyperbole. Honestly, all the emotions flying around on this forum these days make me wonder if I have stumbled into a hormone fueled discussion about gossip and handbags rather than a forum for petrol heads.

Pretty ironic calling a 320d boring and overpriced when holding up a Lexus LS as an example of something interesting and good value.
It is - it's, this side of a Rolls Royce Phantom, the most quiet and refined luxury car on sale. It's the most reliable and best made. For a big mile munching car - that is what you need. It's also rare - unlike a 3 series which I believe is a UK top ten seller (as was the Morris Marina in its day). The LS460 has a nice V8 engine - not a nasty 4 cylinder diesel.
So yes - an LS460 is interesting and excellent.

I drive a Lexus but I can’t think of anything more dreary to look at or drive than a 13 year old Lexus LS460.It's also rare - unlike a 3 series which I believe is a UK top ten seller (as was the Morris Marina in its day). The LS460 has a nice V8 engine - not a nasty 4 cylinder diesel.

Mine is only 10yrs old. It's extremely comfortable and shows most things a clean pair of heels with the 4.6 V8 - those so called "drivers" SUV things like X5's don't see which way it went on a back road. It's a remarkable car. How is the IS300h?

And yet 2 pages ago, you confused me with someone else, and had a crazy go, demanding that I post up the V5 for my Elise, videos of it, proof of insurance etc.So which is it? Acceptable behaviour or not? Or is it just ok for you to do it, but bullying if anyone else does it?

The 111R is not a bad old thing to be honest. Lacks some edge to be exciting but a perfectly habitable daily.
Seems odd you think an LS has decent steering if you are used to the Elise. Don't tell me the Lex is on a par with the Lotus...

No - the LS has decent steering for what it is - certainly compared to the S classes I looked at.

You can't ever make them change their mind, their car is the best at everything and everyone else is quite clearly a stark raving lunatic for not choosing that same car. They are of course blind to the fact that all modern cars are actually made from exactly the same parts, supplied by the same suppliers, and that in reality the differences are minor and in-the-real-world irrelevant, but unless you are actually going to go round and strangle them to death with some appropriately branded team wear to prove your point, then forget it, you are fighting a futile battle....... ;-)

I do resent that somewhat, my car is certainly not the best at everything! It is definitely useless at IKEA and nowhere near as quiet as a Lexus You can't ever make them change their mind, their car is the best at everything and everyone else is quite clearly a stark raving lunatic for not choosing that same car. Hey, that doesn’t apply to me, my car is actually a heavy boat that I bought because I couldn’t afford a RS6!You can't ever make them change their mind, their car is the best at everything and everyone else is quite clearly a stark raving lunatic for not choosing that same car. And my other cars are in order, a reskinned Prius, an ancient old forgotten bag of leather that I like to think is a classic, and a car that is dynamically inferior to it’s lesser powered brother. And a taxi.

You insist that your car revs to 5.5k despite all the evidence that it doesn't. Hence the calls for you to prove it with a video.
Requests don’t mean your given the ask does it. Lots said this 320d doesn’t rev to 5,500rpm and many said beyond 4K revs the rev counter is there for the sake of it you cannot rev it to the redline as it will change up.... well Autocar have maximum achieved speeds at 5,200rpm in all gears where it could pull that all but 7/8th I believe
