Utterly repulsive. Not even a hint of good looking.

I know looks are subjective but surely a turd looks like a turd.

488 vs 458 is subjective.
Huracan vs Gallardo is subjective.
Aston vs Jag is subjective.

But a 911, Cayenne, Boxster, Cayman, any SUVs are turds.
you would still take it if you was on the list

North of £200k and just a rag top? It's disappointing to see that big carbon fibre cover move out of the way only to reveal a fabric roof!

Not for me. You can’t drive it really hard without getting your head ripped off and going deaf if the top is down. I am a hardtop person unless it’s just for lower speed cruising in which case the performance is all wasted.

Looks nice and can see it as a way to flip and make money. Of course you will have difficulty getting another rare Porsche if you do that.

Doubtless sold out

Porsche are learning to take some extra cream on these specials but I don't get why they don't charge £500k. That's what the market will pay no doubt.

The heratage design is cringe worthy disgusting.

200 grand plus for it too, taking the piss but they'll have a queue..

You wouldn't want to park with a wall too close behind and then decide to put the roof up/down...

Invest? Honestly PH..

P.s. I’m a tin top man but lovely car. Would be interesting to learn how the product development of the roof on such a low volume product works at Porsche.
Yes, 'invest' considering you could sell one tomorrow for twice the money.
Why would you question it considering the values other limited edition cars?

It would be coined an 'esoteric asset' which has become very popular over the last few years.

Or near passers by, the rear 'boot' opens right up and people can nick your laptop!

Don't have one in your imaginary garage then.

Would there be component sharing with the either the cabriolet or Targa, possibly both, or would you expect the entire mechanism to be bespoke to the Speedster?

I do have £211k spare but don’t have the right connection to UK dealers to be able to secure an order, even if I did want one.

Rarity aside not sure what this offers over a standard GT3.
Ermm. Open top motoring would be the obvious starter for 10.

Is this a Herbie tribute or something? Porsche going right back to their roots.

Mind you, this could be a little close to the mark.....

Limited Numbers - Check
Light weight - Check
6 Speed Manual - Check
Buckets - Check
Speedster Deck with Double Bubble - Check

Looks like a bargain to me....

I’m with you on this!

However... if I had 200k to splash on this car, I definitely would. I think it is stunning.... in the red though or speed yellow pts. Though the special paint option will likely be extra collectable down the line.

Been here before ,you cannot get one unless your face fits ,I have owned many new Porsches until I got the message. I spend my hard earned cash on AMG, R8,and Ferrari now, I don't have the time to play silly games with Porsche dealers, I often wonder how many of their suits actually can afford one .
The ones who laugh the last laugh the longest as Porsche will see in the end!!
