Surely this is the fastest car on the thread and actually the fastest estate car ever built.

Dismissing the Brabus Rocket 900
Possibly not wink

Pretty confident that Volvo wouldnt know where the Merc had buggered off to. Even more so from a standing start.

Old Skool fast wagon. Sold on with 280k miles on the clock!

That must have caught a few folk out/ raised a few eyebrows over the years as it whizzed by (carrying the kitchen sink too).

I really like this shape - unpopular opinion from what I've read.

Is the capacity compromised much as a result?
I loved this when it came out but it never came to NA. I had one for a few weeks in Europe. Yes, some capacity compromise but the shape was worth it.

Here a few pics of my fast estate...

I'm going to be looking to replace it soon though, with another fast(ish) estate, if I can just bloody decide what I want to buy!!

Agreed, and if funds allowed I would be tempted to have one of these over the equivalent M5.

My latest addition

And my old E34 with an S50B32 transplant

Your latest addition will be on my radar in a few years. Jumping back and fourth between the saloon and the estate, however. I think the saloon looks slightly more muscular over the rear arch, but the estate is more of a sleeper (until the engine makes itself known.)

Looks ace with the red leather, enjoy!

Here's a previous one of mine.

3.0 V6 Sport, so "brisk" rather than fast, these days.
