My car might be a tiny bit over-specced for a visit to Lawson's timber but it made the drive there and back worth it.

That and the sneaky pint in the Wells in Hampstead on the way back.

Thanks. Was a great morning. Finally met Mr Harris too to tell him it was a tweet of his that lead me to buy the B5 through Collecting Cars. We had a good chat about general car geekery and he was a really nice bloke. Even brought his dog in his 911. Seemed completely down to earth which was nice. Even though I'm not 12 I felt the need to ask for a selfie and he was happy to oblige biggrin

That's brilliant. You've got to love the bloke. Great journo, real enthusiast.

Two bikes and a weekend of camping kit loaded up for Boltby Bash. Needs a new PAS pump as it’s whining it’s tits off. Should use it more often!

At sub 7 seconds to the ton, I imagine the screaming is probably a bit distracting.

i'm only a couple of car lengths behind that and my kids are now suitably experienced that they shriek and laugh uncontrollably!

Keep meaning to - promise I will soon. Having bought in October 2019 I can at least now give some detailed opinions after mileage even taking into account the lock down gaps

Be warned, I started mine a period of time after purchase and I'm perpetually six months behind... almost five years later!

In contrast, my FFRR and VFR threads are updated in real-time and are much more relevant and receive far more engagement, which makes it more fun and less onerous to update!

Bit quiet and fake, but not terrible. I’ve got the sports exhaust and in sports+ and race it sounds ok - you get turbo noises down low and then a semi real roar in the cabin with some pops and bangs on upshift and overrun.

Nothing on a NA 911 and I would like it louder, but it’s not just for hooning so will likely leave it as it is.

The kids love acceleration and put their hands in the air like they’re on a rollercoaster! I’m training my 6yr daughter old up to really love her cars and she constantly eggs me on…
