Yeah we have one, had it for a few years. Gets used every day for the shower cubicle after it’s been used and weekly for all the windows in the house. The battery lasts about 20mins.

So you rate it then?

They do one with a removable battery. Do you reckon it would be worth getting that model to future-proof?

We've had one a few years, it gets used on the single glazed windows all winter and shoved in a cupboard all summer.

Had one for years, very good for what it is, and excellent on large panes. Crap for little ones though.

Do you think it's worth getting one with a removable battery?

You can get a smaller blade attachment.

FWIW mine is getting on for 7 years old with no sign of battery deterioration.

Do you folks use the Karcher detergent to wash/wet the windows first? If not, what do you use?

I use a tiny bit of washing up liquid with a non Karcher cheap vac.

Just don't use to much water for inside else it gets messy.
Try doing the outside first as a trial run.

Agree best on large panes. Still OK but more trouble than its worth on smaller even with smaller attachment.
Even worked well on UPVC conservatory windowsills & frames including the ceiling!

Almost all non-replaceable batteries are actually replaceable anyway.

We have one and it gets used regular. I use it on the outside of the car windows too as I live in a hard water area.

Our cleaner has one and swears by it. My only experience of the device would suggest that it’s yellow.

Yup, I fit the ph stereotype

We’ve had two. The first developed a fault not long after we bought it. Karcher were hopeless to deal with. Argued about despatching a replacement, wanted me to return the faulty one at my cost (I didn’t) and were generally awkward.

However, the replacement has been for fine for the last two years. They work well, though the reservoir is pitifully small and the charge doesn’t last very long.

Had mine for about 4 years. Not used very often. Got it out the other day to find the charger is knackered banghead

Yes, we had one but didn't rate it and sold it on. Better off buying decent window cleaning gear from Screwfix, which I found gave better results. Now use a window cleaner who uses softened filtered water, which leaves no streaks at all.

I had one for 2 or 3 years until it broke and I bought another through Karcher refurbished store. I mainly use it for the car windows as it dries them quickly with no smearing. It makes cleaning the house windows much easier too so I wouldn’t be without one now.

We have one, great for getting dog nose marks off the bi-folds.

It's about 4 years old and does a great job. In fact I'm popping it on charge so I can do our windows tomorrow.
