Speedometer & Odo Chim Support required

Having picked up my chim from a retrim yesterday it was apparent the speedometer (amongst others items) were not working after departure. Whilst I have now resolved most issues the Speedo and odo continue to remain unoperational.
I have checked all fuses and relays and any obvious unattached cables near ecu and drivers side, I seem unable to locate a fault. Dash top off and all seems okay with connections.
STeve Heath is vague here and relay & fuses don't appear uniform to help resolve further.
Anyone had experience of this or what I should be looking for, does it share any other components or electrical feeds to narrow down the issue? Any help appreciated.

Is it an analogue Odo or digital?
The speedo shares a common supply (F16) and earth with all the other instruments and the speed module so if they are working so should the speedo.
The signal wire for the speedo comes along the top of the tunnel so may have been disturbed/damaged during the interior work as the console would have been taken out. they may simply have forgotten to plug it back in.

The speed sensor is close to, but not touching, a toothed wheel on the diff. The wheel rotating sends a signal to the speed, via a convertor box.
If you take the centre tunnel cover off inside the car, you will see the cable coming up through the body directly under the triangle between the seat backs.
The cable then runs along the top of the transmission tunnel and heads into the dash.
I have had this issue - when it is both speedo and odo, it means that either the sensor has been moved away from the toothed wheel, or the cable has been broken on its progress down the car. When I had the same issue, it was a sharp toothed invader that chewed right through mine, exactly where it goes through the fibreglass under the triangle.

As mentioned the sensor cables come up at the back of the tunnel but there is a connector in there as well. Also in the same area there are 2 other connectors which I believe are for some sort of A/C system. Your trimmer may have plugged into the wrong connector.
