it would be interesting, for all that have an opinion on the looks of scirocco also state what they drive.
What would that prove? It wont make the scirocco any less ugly.
Well if you say the Scirocco is ugly and drive a multipla...

Then you think the scirocco is ugly, but you also happen to drive an ugly car.

I think he means we could then discount their opinion as they obviously have no taste.

Might be more illuminating if they posted a selfie instead...

Lots of last of the line lease deals from Feb/march 2018 will be coming on the used car market in about 8 months time.

I have one, it was mega cheap and a decent car for £250 a month.
Yeah, got mine for £240 PM. It's probably perfect for what I want in a car right now.

I reference to the MK5/6 Golf GTI underpinnings argument, I get it from both sides. I'd prefer it to be on the MQB chassis ideally, but they were saving that for the new model until they decided to axe the replacement. I had a 1.4 TSI in 2013 and the thing that annoys me is that, while there is MK7 Golf influence on the inside and outside for the Facelift model, there are bits of that are exactly the same. With that being said, I'm not sure you'd notice a massive difference in the drive. It'd be a bit lighter, sure, but it's not exactly going to be night and day difference, IMO.

I still think the MK3 Scirocco is one of the best looking cars that VW has ever made. Given the choice, I think I'd have a Golf GTI or R next, if I was after something similar. That's mainly because I've had 2 now and would want a change. I'd be possibly tempted with a Facelift R though.

A revamp of the Corrado sometime in the future would be interesting...

I'd have a Peugeot RCZ R over one of these. Better drivers car, quicker and about £2-3k cheaper. Looks are subjective but I prefer the RCZ on that front too.
I just bought an R the Peugeot RCZ and for the money it is a fantastic stunning performance car, I was behind a Scirroco at the lights yesterday on my way home the rear is one of the ugliest on the road the car just seems all out of proportion, but then I'm bias as VAG offerings like Golf's and Scirroco's do absolutely nothing for me as they look like and have the exclusivity of just about every other generic lease car st box on the road.
