So what would be your ideal for unclogging the roads at school time?
Ermm make them walk to school like I had to all those years ago? Or is that all too much for the little snowflake darlings these days?

Who designed this? The back is like half a meter higher than the front. Was Peppa Pig inspiration for design of front end?

The whole thing is an absolute travesty and a stain on the landscape but that's more a comment on how awful the average person is rather than anything of BMW's doing. They style and make cars to appeal to the wants and desires of people wealthy Chinese after all..
Fixed that for you.

People in cars like this one can't really see a child because it is below the window line of their car. Great design, make them tall, with small windows. Who needs visibility eh?

From head on it doesn’t look as repulsive as I thought it might, but from any other angle.... there are some serious cosmetic design shortfalls coming out of BMW currently.

What an awful car. I’ve always hated the X6; it’s just hideous and this is even worse. Grim.

Fat, overweight and hideously ugly is the new beautiful now days. But I'm biased as I haven't liked anything BMW have made since about 2000.

Why do manufacturers bother with developing cleaner greener and more efficient cars when, at the drop of a hat, all the gains can be wiped out by driving one of those on a single trip to the supermarket.

Other than being fat, overweight hideously ugly, and cramped inside by the sound of it, what is it actually any good at?
I thinks it’s in order to sit high up. And I think it’s seen as quite high in the bmw pecking order, which matters to some.

At least that’s the rationale I’ve heard expressed by the one person I know that owns one.

Current m2 comp is a nice motor but it's the only one.

This is pure garbage

That's the feedback I've received from friends/colleagues who have bought these types of cars, primarily for their wives.

The wives lack confidence on the road and feel happier/safer sitting up high.

I'm sure it's very competent but that grille ...
It's comical. Obviously hideous, but more comical ...
If I looked in the mirror and saw that I would wonder if I was being chased down the road by some great metallic pig...
That's only the half of it!.

In the new X6...the kidney grill is backlit.

I bloody kid you not...

We're all doomed I tell you...

Easily sorted then; buy them a bus pass for a week and let them ride on the top of a double decker = everyone wins.

If this was a design exercise in vulgarity and brashness then its achieved that for sure, what a vile over weight mess.

The reason is needs so much power is to try and get away from its own ugly reflection as quickly as possible.

The new look BMW grille is a horrible thing I saw one of these on the road yesterday driving towards me the it looked horrible from front on view, totally in your face styling and not pleasant to look at:

Sports Activity Coupe - so it's a SAC? Seems like a good name for it actually. Can't figure out if that's because it's uglier than a bawbag or because it should have a sack over it's head.

I like the colour, but the rest of the car is challenging I'm sure they'll sell loads of them.

oh I do hope the light-up grille catches on.

For me, it will be the final piece of the puzzle that E90 318i SE (with M badges everywhere) on the council estate needs.

(side note - spotted an E65 7 series with massive "///M" logos on the front doors yesterday at KFC carpark).
