That's about it, I hope Hyphen is happy about that answer.
Weirdos.Normal reaction to seeing something you don't like is to not want to see it. Not I'm so happy to see something I don't like.
Happy clappy, Hare Krishna, peace for our time, m********#ers, the both of you.
You won't even mind me saying that will you

Not sure anything does tbh.
I think one detail that instantly makes this car look oddly proportioned is the fact that the bonnet line, where it meets the windscreen, is so much higher than the door line where the side windows start. It makes it look as if the front of the car is a size too big for the rest of it in some of the photos.
Thread summary: opinionated people who definitely don’t buy new BMW SUVs are hugely offended that BMW don’t style their new SUVs to appeal to people who definitely don’t buy new BMW SUVs. Same people would be shocked that BMW goes out of business because their cars didn’t appeal to people who actual buy new cars. Too wordy?

So which comes first? Chicken or the egg...BMW are aiming for the bling look with their larger SUVs, if they toned them down they would steal sales from Volvo and Land Rover.
But BMW have decided that they want to sell to the tts market.

No. Very consice and to the point. Someone could say there's no reason to have your 130i because a 120d is all you need and you can't go above 70mph in the UK so only a tt who's going to break the law would want one.
I love SUVs but the X6 is one I've never been able to accept in form or function. Some cars suffer from being 'over styled' and the back end of this thing is something else. BMW has somehow decided that the grill must be so large that it would not look our of place on an aircraft carrier and they've really spoilt the 7 series with it and it looks to be spreading throughout the range. Sad.

Whilst I agree and also think this and the grille on the mew 7 is hideous, Carwow did a bit of a questionnaire on a load of people at a car show in China. I'm not joking when I mean EVERYONE he asked liked the new grille. I don't like overly fussy designs, but clearly other markets do. BMW aren't just making cars for you or I.
