Garage forecourts oh no....ever wanted to find a hole to hide in....
Well pull in , all heads look across , some smile , some may come over ,all great. but then...press the start button & "Click"..ah the bloody over heated starter motoer cabling etc, fitted a 35Amp relay plus 35MM tig cables for earth & all good ...
I also had a few embarrassing situations with the Starter motor playing up! Also had the boot lock fail a couple of times on me and I couldn't even open the boot to put petrol in!! banghead

They are character building cars that is for sure!! biggrin

I'm really chuffed that I had one but my temperament/patience isn't quite strong enough anymore for those silly games sadly.

The problem is this is a site full of inconsiderate asshats. There’s two RS3’s locally. Both have blacked out windows and chrome mirrors, very tasteful. The noise the pair of the make when you see them in the high street is just embarrassing. These seem to falling into the hands of total chavs. Easy to map, and it’s an RS innit bruv. Shame really, it’s a discreet way to cover ground fast as a stock car.
What's inconsiderate about accepting that, if you live near a road, you might hear cars on it? Also, I suspect the chaps you mention probably aren't members of PH. By the sounds of it, if they were, they'd be doing 20mph in Eco mode and home by 10 laugh

yes but at least the TVR did the decent thing and threatened to kill you once in a while thereby ensuring you were a half-decent driver- TVRs were proper sportscars- the issue comes with the digital generation of 600hp and no skill. Pure reliance on driving aids to get them out of trouble.

I remember going to a Wales/Argentina game in Cardiff (by train from London) and one of the group was driving there in poor conditions. He arrived late. "Why are you late," we asked.
"Some tt in a TVR decided to try to kill himself on the M4" came the reply.

"How badly damaged is your car" we asked. It was fine once he pulled the turf out. That was a great looking car (T350) and he still has it I think.
Alternatively, we could be grateful that we have access to such a broad range of extremely capable performance vehicles, some of which are easy to drive, others which offer greater thrills.

Well, if you chose to drive in an urban environment late at night and think it's acceptable to make lots of noise, that would be classed as inconsiderate. Unfortunately, Audi attracts more than its share of sideways cap wearing wide boys, who obviously weren't brought up with any kind or sympathy or respect for others.
