I saw the OP the blokes surname was Ferguson so, worryingly, it could be real

Driven by a reassuringly powerfully built chap heading to the gym

I often wonder if with number plates like this if that's their name ? Or do they have to explain the random extra letter(s) to their pals etc ?
I mean his name might be (for example) Kevin Tony Gibson, or he might just have random letters on there.

I know I'm over thinking it, but the plate is awful.

From hero to zero this morning.

Saw what I thought was a decent Mustang plate in Knutsford until I got closer and realised it was MU57AMG

there's an EN61 AMO knocking around my area. It's got a stupid font and almost looks like ENGLAND from a distance. In the dark. If you're facing the other way.

25/06/2021 Daily Mail article:

'Dodgy number plates are the most common illegal vehicle modification - we reveal the UK hotspots where drivers are stung for altering their cars
Almost 14,000 were hit with £100 fines for illegally modified number plates.

Offences could have been for incorrectly spaced characters and the use of coatings to make plates reflective to escape cameras

Other plate offences could be linked to drivers changing numbers and letters to evade authorities for criminal offences, such as non-payment at petrol stations."

So the bad lands of Gloucestershire are the worst for dodgy number plates followed by the bad lands of Norfolk
