Exactly... because someone's reading in to it what "they" read into it ... but it's a perfactly legally spaced plate... So then decides to post it in the wrong thread...

Quite a few of the C124PPV plates utilise a V as a Y. laugh

Firstly, what's going on with the side glass is that some sort of aftermarket replacement for the little porthole window? More to the point wtf with the Lotus thing? I suppose you might want to remind everyone that the DMC project was how Colin Chapman shamed himself as a fraudster and thief right at the end of his career, escaping justice only in death, but that seems odd? hehe

The prototype had this side window detail, so it's less aftermarket & more "before market"! That's if it's a genuine prototype. DeLorean built 2, and one is in a museum in the US. So if that cheesy number plate is to be believed, then it could be the other.

Not being particularly interested in DeLorean, I didn't really go over to inspect it further (I was an official photographer on the day) and this was the only pic I took of it, but that was at Windsor Castle Concours of Elegance... and they don't usually let any riffraff in there.

I wish I had a prestige 4x4 with a desirable index.

The envy is palpable.
