Finally got the car today. Only drove 40 miles back from Chester but it’s an epic thing. Absolutely no slack whatsoever. Set the Ohlins to full soft and whilst the ride is still firm it’s not one bit crashy. The seats are superb but I may have them set too high and adjusting them requires the entire seat to come out so I’ll wait a couple of weeks to be sure.
WTF?!? Where’s mine?? That’s not fair moonigan said:

I'm through Culcheth most days dropping off/picking up from Culcheth High. Holcroft Lane is excellent as is Kenyon Lane if there is no traffic. Still yet to see a R26.R in the wild. Always wanted one when they came out but the fixed harness was a no no for a daily driver.Your car looked fab - surprised how large it looked too.

Decided to drop the driver seat today but was met with a couple of hurdles which resulted in it not being done. The first hurdle was needing a tamper proof T40 for the seats. Managed to find a set of Torx bits at Screwfix which included the tamper proof T40. Next hurdle was loosening the seat. I wanted to make sure I could do this before removing the base. I only had a screwdriver type handle and couldnt get enough leverage to get them loose. I didnt want to jump in with the drill so set about finding an adapter for my socket rachet. Easier said than done. Nothing at Screwfix or Halfords so out of desperation I tried B&Q who didnt have the adapater but had a set of tamper proof Torx sockets for £6. Bingo. Got home and loosened one side of the seat and moved onto the seat base which needs a normal T40. Managed to get 3 of the 4 loose but the front one nearest the center console would not budge without socket threatening to strip the screw. So it will have to be done at the garage when it goes in to get the bumper/wing re-alligned.

Hi Paul, hope you’re enjoying it mate - I collect mine on the 1st March - it should arrive soon, it I’m away for most of Feb, so waiting for a 20 plate. Did you get harnesses or anything else to go with it? Hopefully mine will have the harnesses fitted along with the cold air feed kit prior to collecting.
Then I’m taking it to Spa for its first trackday in March

Its superb!! I didnt get anything else fitted as I'll only be doing a few track days initially. I'd recommend getting your seats sorted before you collect it if you can to avoid having to go through what I've been through today. I have mine set on the highest setting which is OK for day to day but it would be struggle getting out of the car with a helmet on. I'm 172cm BTW. Also have a good check around it as only noticed the misallignment of my panels just as I was about to drive it out of the showroom. Its not much but on a car like this it needs sorting otherwise it might appear that its been in an accident when it hasnt. Did you get harnesses or anything else to go with it? Make sure they activate your RS Monitor as well. The Ohlins have more adjustment than I was expecting. The rears have 50 clicks and the front 20 and the fronts are a bit of a pain to adjust because suspension upright gets in the way and makes it akward to adjust even when lying on the floor with your head behind the front wheel. I suspect lifting the car up with a trolly jack would make it easier. The plastic cover in the rear where your wheels sit marks really easy so if that bothers you I would perhaps but something over it before you start dragging wheels on and off it.

Thanks Paul, appreciate the advice, I sat in the UK press car at Autosport and I thought the seat was not upright enough for my liking - so as you say, I’ll get it adjusted before driving away and ensure it’s as low as can be Make sure they activate your RS Monitor as well.
