Any one on here driven it or owned one. Would be curious to know what the sub 100mph performance is like through the gears and also reliability ?

I still have one... so some pointers (just back from a London to Scotland, Scotland to London, London to South of France and back trip)

- Its on 100K, reliability has been fine, nothing major so far
- Performance is very linear, it just sweeps up the rev range gathering pace.... nothing brutal
- However bit 'jolty' in town due to a throttle you have to get used to

I think someone said "why not just buy an RS6", thought about it but prefered the very low key/subtle look of the S6 and I dont like to drive a diesel as due to the engine noise. Thats it really!

I don't think I've ever seem one of these in the flesh; lots of RS6's of the same era but not the S6.

In some ways it's pretty cool because it's got a stonking great engine, but on the other hand it's a bit too subtle and I don't think the interior has aged all that well.
