Odd how VW and General Motors have both moved away from Hybrid cars entirely. Their view is electric is the future. Lexus are Hybrid, and turbo charging seems to be where others are going. I cannot see anybody buying these, a lease maybe but what are the CO2 reading for companies?

Still can't fathom why anyone would want a "diesel clatter" hybrid like the one in the Audi.

Merc drivetrain all day long for me.

Different people make different choices. I suspect the Audi's engine will be very discreet if not inaudible on a motorway cruise, which is what it's essentially designed for. It makes sense to me anyway.

Yet buying an equally expensive fully electric vehicle is more feasible, from a purchasing and not leasing perspective?
