Been to see this exact car, the 1 owner was a smoker which isn't disclosed in the advert, perhaps is reflective of price. Shame.
is there no way to expunge the stink?
Yes take up smoking hehe

One for the.detailers.i imagine every surface would.need to be deep cleaned including the headliner. How one would clean the ventilation system/ aircon is another factor

Stop the press. A ten year old Aston which will cost you a fortune to keep on the road is relatively cheap to buy.

I don't see why it should cost a fortune to run - depending on your view of a fortune obvs - should be no more than my old DB9, 700 quid annual services, very robust mechanically, thirsty as f**k obvs, brakes, tyres etc not crazy

I read somewhere of someone's woe at trying to clean a smokers car and whatever they tried it just wouldn't go. The smoke gets everywhere, into the fabric, into the headlining, carpets, sound deadening under the carpets, seat cushions. If you are a non smoker even after a deep clean you will still notice it even if the smell has been massively reduced by a thorough clean.

For the person that went to view the car and smelled the smoke there is a good chance that if they have prepped the car properly for sale then it may have already had a decent interior clean to try and reduce the smoke smell so if it still there.

Ouch!
In all fairness, the exhaust manifolds are £1500 per side, second-hand from eBay!

My memory of these was that they weren’t very fast? Mid 5s to 60? At the money really wasn’t very impressive in 2010.

Never really liked them in general though don’t seem sporty enough or luxury enough. Sort grey area of not quite that good at anything.

Not the first 4 door Aston since the Lagonda. There were four door saloon and shooting brake versions of the Virage in the 1990s. There was also the Lagonda SUV of 2009, though that was a one-off.

Friend just bought one, with 23 in the PH classifieds it's quite exclusive.
It's the 760 on UK roads that counts towards exclusivity, not the 23 in the classifieds.

Love the first one. Less grille, that V12 and enough space to cripple friends.
Look brilliant in the flesh.

35k. 👀, does seem rude not to purchase. Modern classic

This is gorgeous and there's nothing wrong with the cabin. What will retain more value in 3 years, this or £35K of Aston shares?

Some of us were bankrupted and divorced a wife because of that.

This car sits in an odd place, price wise... Better Panamera for more, or flakier but way cooler Quattroporte for much less. Both of those options look more appealing than the Aston to me.
Since this now seems to be a marital thread, my 2 cents. There is a middle ground; I’m not married and let my girlfriend drive my cars. Great middle ground, I highly recommend it! She also used to sell Nissan GTRs and then AMGs so knows how to drive. Quite a good look being picked up from a night in the pub by a nice blonde driving an Integrale Evo.

I bet the 760 aren't dailies, so not a common site and 23 examples is just as idea of how few are on sale versus other models. Still a relatively exclusive Aston. In another 10 years that exclucivity will only increase.
