Great shed! Slightly biased though.
Mines an auto and I may be turning into an old git but I think it's a great 'box. Super smooth and blinds the 8 speed ZF that everybody wks over that was in the XC60 I had previously. The interior is a great place to be with the big sunroof and cream leather. It feels amazingly well screwed together, again much better than the previous XC60. They really get under your skin. The only blot is the pretty brutal fuel consumption which varies from 21 to 28 depending on journey distance.
If it was an XC60 from 2014 onwards, it wasn't the ZF 8 speed, but an Aisin one. HTH.Mines an auto and I may be turning into an old git but I think it's a great 'box. Had a Spec B tourer for a few years. 50k to 120k. Needed a couple of wheel bearings and a starter motor. And a new aux belt because I forgot to change it at 100k miles. Superb car.
Terrible mpg so I lpg'ed it.
Used to be a bit tricky to start hot on the lpg, which is why the starter packed up.
I did have a towbar fitted and towed heavy trailers from UK to France too often. That is what did the wheel bearings in. Easy fix, not too expensive.
Superb build quality too. Precision engineering everywhere.
That car is why I now have a brand new Outback...
Jerry
(anyone know who designed the facelift on this btw? Still a cracking looking car imho)

Hiding. He will be apoplectic a Subaru Legacy is shed of the week. I can feel the rage from here.
Happy days!
If it's lacking estateness just buy the Spec B estate which isn't really any slower. I did, it was absolutely epic but too good a car for me so it was replaced by a less reliable but cooler BG5 GTB.
The spec B manuals were the fastest accelerating car in their class btw, unreal grip too, treat yourself!
