Can always count on the driving God that is Sideways Si to appear on any RS audi thread and whine about 'driving dynamics'...this makes an E63 look bland as fook...red with black pack as above oh my...
Well if it looks good...As I said, they have nailed their buyer. smile
Yeah, spectrum of preferences also, we don't need to agree on everything, would be a boring world if we all agreed on one single car that is ideal for everyone....
Agreed, however, Mr Sideways always comes on basically proclaiming that if it doesn't fit his personal preferences then it's therefore st like he has on other VAG threads - now that's boring!! After all we all like a self appointed expert on driving cars now don't we!

I own an C7 RS6 and I am in love with it.

I’m getting ready to move on to the new RS6 but I don’t think I will be in a rush to.

By all accounts it is going to be a better car and the interior tech is streets ahead.

However, although I like the styling, it is too much for me in the current colour / chrome combinations. I don’t think it is understated enough for me unless it is in one of the more discreet combinations e.g., black with black styling pack or silver with titanium (not alu) styling pack.

So I need to see the single tone colour combinations in the flesh and see if they actually work better for me.

If not, the M5 and the E63S might be my preferred choice as the new RS6’s styling is a little overstated for me.

All IMHO of course!

Does anyone know the weight of this new car, has that been released? Is it lighter than the previous generation?

No quoted weights, but they stated it is lighter than the old model. But that might mean 5kg...

Speccing the ceramics saves 34kg though, which is pretty impressive.

Just don't mention that rear end or your posts will get deleted...... Apologies mods if this is sponsored content and negativity is not allowed.
I really don't like Audi's but even I have to admit they've finally knocked it our of the park with this one. It looks great.

...but what the hell is going on with that rear end? How to ruin a perfectly nice design. getmecoat

I am pleased that my family has grown up and that these are no longer of interest to me. Great cars I am sure, but I’d rather have light weight and less power to achieve the same paper stats and better cornering and stopping.

I loved my A6, but you could tell it was heavy

Dunno about anywhere else, but the German RS6/7 config is live so at least you can play around with colours and wheels.

https://www.audi.de/de/brand/de/neuwagen/a6/rs-6-a...

Worth considering if you do go on there that the German spec is very different to UK, so only use as a guide for how it looks.
