I get the feeling that Morgan might outlast Elon and his battery cars

Unless Morgan replace the wood with formica.

In the old days I used to laugh at Morgan drivers. Now I am getting older.....

It's a lovely day currently in the SE of England. Morgan weather.

Just fanny along having a good time ploughmans for lunch with proper bitter, one pint only, and a slap up fish and chips supper come 9pm!

So what does float your boat then Mr drink boiling water, piss icecubes.

Would be interested to know.

Is it a motorcycle with 3 rockets?

That would be a good reply.

I love what Morgan have done with the headlights, really WWII vibe appeals for some strange reason.
Love the 'slits' too.

What the Morgan is and represents really appeals to me. Not to my wallet though.

When's the Jag I6 engine going in the F-Type ?
IMO, it should have been out ages ago.

This article is a gripping read of motors that are variously very alike and worlds apart. Maddening! (and all the better for it)

A sort of thinking man's comparo.

I like the morgan bar the steering wheel and the louvered rear spare wheel void which for some reason looks odd to my eyes.
I agree on the steering wheel, but to me the seats in a Morgan jar as well.

What a surprise... more torque, and SIX HUNDRED kilos less weight = a win.

It's for reasons like this, that I appreciate cars like Lotus all the more.

I really want this new morgan - even the BMW gear lever is forgivable when it looks like that.

This and the Lexus LC are the only new cars I really desire!

I was at the Morgan factory today for a tour - something to keep my son entertained really.

I'd never wanted a Morgan before but now a Plus 6 is close to the top of the lottery wish list and the 90k price seems reasonable when you see the craftsmanship that goes into one.

I must visit and do the tour.

This car seems like a great antidote to the ever more powerful and overstyled supercars. I am not that good a driver that I can make use of 600+ bhp. This morgan would be more than fast enough for me. And special in the process by the sounds of it.

Blame the weight advantage, the Morgan lugging around in the region of 400kg less with more torque; there's just so little inertia, a trait of the light car/big engine blueprint that no level of technology can replicate (save perhaps electrification - and even that feels like a different kettle of fish).
Word salad.

I’m sure it will arrive one day!, I’d rather an entry level 911 or a top end Boxster than either of these either.
The Morgan looks like it’s come straight from Dads Army.

The only thing I like about the Morgan is the wheels. The rest is just...well... a shed job? Oh apart from the engine, which is not from Morgan.

I know it's an obvious comment, but if you've not driven a Morgan you should. Absolutely joyful experience, lovely view down the bonnet, everyone lets you out at junctions and it's utterly involving to drive.

Not sure I'd actually want to own one unless I somehow hit the three car marker, but the Roadster I tried put a massive smile on my face.

I imagine the F-Type is pretty good too, but the Morgan was delightful.

The F-Type should only exist in 5.0 litre FHC form, I wouldn't have one though, because old boys look stupid in such cars, the Morgan, however, now that it has grown up a little, is suddenly attractive.

I stopped buying EVO due to annoying phases like “dab of oppo”.
Hence I didn’t read past halfway.
