I had a boost pipe from Forge fitted on my BMW 335d 7 years ago. It developed a small hole in casing causing a pressure leak. Although I was not happy, I was most impressed by the customer service from Forge. They sent a guy to my house, I think it was the next day ( I live in Wolverhampton and they're from Gloucester) and he replaced the part on my driveway. Top service.

I've dealt with Forge on many projects even going so far as to get the heat shield from an intake kit
But you couldn't buy it separately.
I called Forge directly on this occasion and asked if they could get me just a heat shield, they made one up specifically for me and also at further request measured the diameter of the hole as I needed it to be a certain diameter.

They were prompt, efficient, friendly and when I was told "you'll get a call back in 15 minutes", they did call me back .
Not many companies can hold a candle to that.

Hello everyone, thanks for the comments on the article. When we were approached by PH to be featured, we jumped at the opportunity to have our design, development, and manufacturing process promoted.

For anyone in doubt of our manufacturing or design process, we have any open invitation to any welcome down to our Gloucester HQ for a tour of our fabrication unit, machine shop, and development area smile

If you have any questions regarding our products, company, or anything else, please email media@forgemotorsport.co.uk and we'll be happy to assist smile

Didn't know you were in Gloucester. I'm only in Bristol but there occasionally for work. May take you up on that!

Many of my cars have had forge parts on them.
I’ve seen they do a lot of bits for my 595 - I will be shopping.

I like the fire pit too.

I bought a Forge wastegate actuator for a tuned Saab 95 Aero that wasn't holding boost. It was a nicely made part, fitted easily enough, not too expensive and cured the problem. What's not to like?

Thx for the article, an interesting insight.

A very interesting read. I live about 20 mins away and have been to a couple of the brunch club's they hold, haven't bought any parts though (yet!)

More of this PH!

Do Forge do anything much with Toyota GT86s?

Not asking for a friend.

Had a forge diverter valve for my MK1 Cupra R a few years back.

Lovely bit of kit, and incredibly well made.

Used a full set of Forge Motorsport silicon boost hoses and alloy couplers when the Pd130 in my Ibiza blew the tabs on the OEM ones.

Echoing what everyone else has said, they were well made and a definite upgrade from the ultimately flawed standard parts.

I'd just like to reiterate that this is not paid content – we approached Forge Motorsport directly to pay them a visit. Any paid content is clearly marked as 'Promoted'.

We've expanded our PH Meets features to celebrate the best of British and the amazing work that companies like Forge are doing right here in Blighty. It's something we should be proud of, which is exactly why we're visiting UK manufacturers and specialists to get a better understanding of what they do.

So expect to see more like this soon! thumbup

Indeed.

Shame the first 2 comments were by idiots. Seems to be a trend of late that it’s the done thing to reply first to a thread and say something stupid.

Great piece Ben and the Forge team. More like this please!

Liking the positive focus on British companies, especially those who aren't necessarily household names. Good to be reminded that the high-end automotive and motorsport industries employ tens of thousands of skilled people, together generating billions for the UK economy.

Enjoyed this article, but what prompted me to reply was Forge's responses in the forum - really coming across well as a professional and engaging company. Good on you.

Forge do make some good stuff, but I can't help but think that, as this is clearly an advert, it should be highlighted as such.

It's been said it is not an advert, I presume that Forge have not paid for any advertising

So it's not an advert. Not that it matters?? They hold meets there often and plenty of "adverts" for the newest cars etc.
Hell, there are even random peoples cars that are listed for sale who get a huge boost to traffic to their particular for sale add , no-one seems to care then biggrin

Its been explained that the feature is not an advert and is the start of a regular series from PH showcasing UK companies.

Fair play to the guys for their open attitude and im sure they could fill a thread with pictures of their engineering/manufacturing facilities!!!

I've been to a few of their meets at the Gloucester head office and it's always stuffed full of high class kit & friendly staff.
