I used to think that, but I’m led to believe the ‘best one’ is the JDM only 9 GT
That's the one I'm keeping my eye for. As a current 6 owner, the 9 GT is the only one I'd replace the 6 with.I like the X but i get the feeling a lot of work needed to get it up to previous models levels for handling?
After reading this article yesterday I happened to maybe see this car on my way into work in Wakefield this morning. Checked just now where the dealer is based and yep, Wakefield, so I am pretty sure that it is this car that's for sale due to the rarity stated in the article. Was stopped at the lights trying to get round Kirkgate roundabout (which is now a task in itself with all the lights). Maybe a few more miles on for any perspective buyer if the dealer is using it until it's sold.

I’d keep hold of the VI, if it’s a good un. Long term, the early cars will be the desirable models - true rally lineage.
This is the battle I have all the time. It is a good un ( I think). It had a re spray 2 years ago (stone chips can't be helped), heavily under sealed and gets a ceramic coat over the body every 2 years. Only does about 2-3 k a year now and that's mostly just summer driving. BUT. I've had it well over a decade now and it is a 20 yrs old car. Still well under 100k on the clock but things can't last for ever....don logan said:
Hi, what would make you pick a 7RS Sprint?
Hi, Edited by don logan on Friday 30th August 23:32
It just ticks all my boxes, lightweight, no toys, its my favourite shape and it is rare.
I might be in the minority but technology ruins cars for me, I like the raw driving experience. No abs, no stability management etc etc just 3 pedals, a steering wheel and all the control being with me.

not a great car.
iirc these had a black box on them at mitsubishi used the data to try and deny warranty claims if people were speeding etc
the 9 MR 360's were the best cars they made aside from the 6

I recall these got destroyed around a track by a r35..
The evo would understeer, which was very un'evo'like...
