I like that silly cars like this exist, but who steps out of a fully-lit 720S set to its fiercest settings and thinks "That's not fast or sharp enough"?
look at why the 675LT is so good, not all about ultimate speed
yes

Going to cancel your order because of it? hehe

Does the name really matter?

You don't think that McLaren should be putting more effort into appeasing the opinions of non potential customers then? smile

Are there any details anywhere on whether there will be additional active aero yet?

We all know this will be epic, but the 675LT still has my vote and money.

I think "Long Tail" has a slight League of Gentlemen ring to it.

Agreed
I've got my name on the list but struggle to see how it will be more engaging than my 675

Not a longtail but the McLaren 750BS "Big Spoiler" version

Hope this helps smile

So all the proper long tail cars are too big for parking? Maybe they're definition of "long tail" is different for road and race cars? smile

Longer than a Range Rover! laugh

Though of course Length isn't an issue so much as width. (she said) Had a nose around a Lamborghini Aventador SV recently. Looks mental. (Switchgear by Audi biggrin ) But Jesus it's wide!

I get that the "LT" versions of the current McLaren range are the best they can make. But I do think it's almost sacrilegious to call them LT, when the only thing making them "long" is a bigger spoiler. There's a million other names they could have used. "RS" "Evo" "GTR" etc But they didn't and I feel that's a shame. Dilution of the LT "marque/brand" is right up there with Ferrari slapping GTO on the 599 variant. When there was no racing heritage. Equally silly IMO

You are taking it far too literally. LT or Long Tail is a McLaren racing reference its much more marque specific than GT3 for example. It's just branding (though I do agree about GTO when there's no "omologato" going on )
