Looks like something from Kahn Designs.
If Callum can make even a fraction of the money Kahn seem to make, I'm sure he'll be very happy.

When all's said and done, this is a business he's set up; his job is to assess what the addressable market will find attractive and pay money for, not please us here smile

Lose all of the orange motifs, replace the infotainment system with something that doesn't look like a £200 eBay special double din replacement, go for a less lairy colour for the leather and you've got yourself a handsome car.

If anything it goes to show how bloody well the Vanquish has aged.

I think it's safe to say that Callum's target market is not general gassing.

That is......awful. Why should a customer have to pick up the tab for Callum Designs r+d? The price is absolutely ridiculous

I don’t think there’s a bad angle to view this car from. I love the muscularity of the thing.
I like that the rear lights have been changed as I thought the original ones looked like they had been scavenged from a lesser marque.
I’m not quite sure about the upholstery design. The seats look very supportive and comfortable although how well the tartan will age is another story. It’s a pity that the steering wheel wasn’t redesigned to make it look more sporty - maybe add some visible aluminium, carbon fibre or even the exhaust tailpipe colour.
I applaud Callum for being brave, even if not everything is to my taste.

Ownership guarantees exclusivity and membership of an elite club shrouded by ambiguity. The Wealthiest One Deserving Design Lovingly Expressed, or TWODDLE as it is often referred to by the discerning, coupled with the countless opportunities to brag about your Aston Martin Callum, who wouldn’t choose this over the countless mass produced alternatives.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks this looks pretty dreadful. The interior seemingly looks worse than the original. The whole car looks like things have just been stuck on.. I mean the side skirts with gills cut out of them are at complete odds with the rest of the car.

Somehow, Kahn actually made a better looking car with the Vengance.

That is really tragic, on so many levels.... frown

I always liked the interior of the original Vanquish (before it got facelifted with the screen).

For £100k you can buy this beautiful, manual Vanquish from Aston works: https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/aston-martin/...

This would leave you with more than £400 and a much better looking car!!

I've got to say I'm really surprised by the responses here - when I started reading this, I thought it was exactly what people on PH are alway banging on about, older cars but freshened up. I'm one of them, and I like this.

The price is ridiculous though and is at least £300k overpriced.. But then an Eagle E-Type is £500k too..

CALLUM as a name is a bit WALL-E

Don't get me wrong, I love what Singer, Eagle, Ateliers Diva, etc. are producing.
But this can't be named in the same sentence! I don't mean to diminish Callum's great work, but this is just wrong.
With singer, etc. you really get £500k worth of rebuilt Porsche for your money, with this you don't.
I understand there is R&D going into a project like this, but there is a certain balance that has to be met. This doesn't meet it.

What does look good is the front grill, especially the new intakes instead of the fog lights. But then again, the grill looks much more like the one of a DB9. The original was really, really good looking already...

All the other bits make it look worse, especially the new centre console.
There is simply no need to have a cheap looking screen there. Why?? This is no daily...
Also it looks really, really dated already. There is a reason, why Bugatti don't fit screens in their centre consoles for instance.

Spectacularly ruined

Leave the old girl alone (and trust me, standard ones will be worth a lot more than modified ones at some point not that far away)

And besides, if you want an updated Vanquish, just buy one of these:

You can thank me for saving you £400,000 later!

But an old porsche that is 50 years old and is then modernised is sensible, and they, Singer et-al, tend to keep the styling boardly original and update the powertrain so you can drive it every day.

The Vanquish is much more modern and already has both a good powertrain (clumbsy gen 1 single clutch box excepted) and looks terrific from the factory.

So it's the automotive equivalent of tarting up Charlize Theron............

A while ago a leggy MK1 Vanquish if there were such a thing could be had for £40k
