I know having 5 doors will help them sell more but it really has ruined the looks of the car.
Shame, the concept was a cool looking thing, this isn’t frown

why does everyone moan about it not looking like the concept? it's pretty similar apart from the wheels...
Exactly, looks good. Just put a new set of alloys on, forget the extra door, and you have the concept. Honda have done a good job keeping the look of the concept through to production.
It's the wide bodykit.

PH oldies want to relive their nineties Dimma bodykit, max power days again and they can only do that of it's OEM and comes that way as standard.

So you're saying the younger age bracket want to drive something that looks like it's their grandmother's car? cool

In response, I give you the Fiat 500 and the (not so) Mini.

At least those 2 examples you have given have a bit of style to them.
Admittedly I do like what you can see of the dash but the outside of the honda (production version) is about as cool as a beige hearing aid (No offense intended).

^^^ for those who can't see how much has been changed from the concept. The only line that looks the same is the rear end.

Personally, the concept car had converted me to the idea of getting an EV. However, the production version just looks like a granny car. No thanks.

I'll go against the trend here - as something to buy I'd much rather have the production version, I think it looks brilliant.
Take another look at the concept.

...Still waiting for the sister car to the Honda E city car - the E sports concept - hopefully this won't be a watered down version once in production...
If the rumour mill is true, there is accidental humour in that post.

The story goes, Honda has decided EV sports cars don't work, so they'll add their 3rd Gen GM/Honda fuel cell to it. So in effect, it will be watered-down.

Surely Renault are missing a trick not jumping on the new mini, fiat 500 and “civic “ bandwagon and not reviving a new 5

I'm glad they're talking about banning hands free calling whilst driving. Wouldn't want any distractions.

Excellent!

It has lost its fantastic proportions. Shame.

I'll go against trend and say the production version looks great and certainly a more practical daily proposition.

Had the concept not appeared in the form it did I'm sure the reaction to this would have been far more positive. Its comfortably the best looking 'standard' EV car.
