It’s strong money and would take a large brave pill.

Car and Classic came to my place last week - they are going to feature my car. Keep a look out, you will get to see loads of pics & video.
Decent sound out of that.

This is Pistonheads. Love of cars (and bikes) brings us here.
Ph'er has spent £xx to get an unloved model well above factory. That's the sign of someone with petrol in their veins.

Bigger cahones than me, I salute your efforts.

Fair play for the effort, but you have made a good car worse. So asking such ridiculous money is certainly brave.

Who ever buys it will have the constant worry they will never be able to shift it on. Might be better as a breaker.
In that it’s faster, lighter, more reliable, winds up tin hatted owners?

Righty oh.

This is an awesome conversion, I love it! Then again I'm a heathen who would consider an EV conversion of my RX-7 if the engine dies...
Finding any swapped car that you can trust to run properly is a rare thing, too many are flaky unfinished projects.

I like that about as much as I'd like a Mustang with a flat 6.

Think of something bad and it will have already been done worse.

I don't much like them either tbh. Don't mind the V8 in the 928 though.

I have just recieved an email from PH, assume its the feature where you can send a message directly to a seller:

" Hi,did you mange to integrate the original beepbeep gatangas into the original Porsche roleo umphas? "

Seriously wtf is wrong with people.

Mods, had enough now. Please delete this thread. Im getting ttty emails, and a raft of ridiculous negative comments. Coupled with the innacuracies, assumptions and lack of permissions to feature my car I'm done. Pistonheads is supposed to be a community for petrolheads, but has degenerated into hate and bias.

What's odd is that in some cars doing the V8 conversion is a very sought after conversion.

e.g. in my club for tuned Japanese cars, one converted to the GM V8 would go for strong money. People realise the benefits of the V8 in reliability, power etc, yet come to some cars, as in this case Porsche, and it's owners somehow think the frankly crap engine they came with is superior.

Ignore the haters the world is full of bitter, twisted and warped people and they are all big and tough on the internet.

I really like the idea of a reliable powerful V8 Porsche and it sounds spectacular cool

Then again I drive one of the most hated cars here or so it seems in a Golf R!!
