See, for me I’m afraid if I would take the Mclaren GT every time. Or maybe the DBS - but definitely not this Bentley.

Don’t get me wrong I like the Bentley but it’s still got too much heft and it’s still too “old man” for me.
Same here... I can appreciate what it is and the comfort aspect but big motorised gentleman’s club lounge barge just ain’t my thing. I’d take the McLaren too. I don’t have kids and I can’t rem the last time I had more than one other person in the car... maybe 3 times in the last 2 years. For me, all that car would be just pointless.

Nice to see the interior technology is much improved. When we had our Supersport the sat nav and cabin tech in general was absolutely atrocious, despite the VAG group having some really good kit at the time.

The W12 is an fantastic thing to fire up in an enclosed garage, and they're a lovely car to do distance in, but on the road in this country you can't help but feel like a in a Bentley! biglaugh

You should be looking at a different McLaren too in that case.

Want! I just love GT’s, popped into Bentley Brum the other day and up close the cabin is superb.

This is slightly more feminine looking than the predecessor, which in run out Supersport spec looked the biz, but aside the rear light cluster I love it..

Oh really! Why? If it's the one I want for GT duties am I not allowed to have it? wink
Joking aside, I'll indulge you... what McLaren should I be looking at then?

You don't have kids and rarely carry passengers so I would've thought you'd be in the market for one of their sharper offerings.

Seems a reasonable assumption. If not, fair enough. Makes no odds to me.

I see what you mean but then if you’re travelling a long way surely the idea of the McGT is slightly better touring ability whilst still managing to be sharp? I haven’t driven any of the cars we are talking about so I might well be talking nonsense but I expect that driven back to back the mclaren GT would make the Bentley feel like a colossal old bus and thus be just about the sharpest car you can transport your tent and all your gear and two of you to Le Mans or whatever?

I see your point... I was going more on the basis of if I wanted something more GT for covering distance, Euro road trip with the squeeze but not the usual got to Bentley/Aston offering. Although I’m 6’1 I’ve never liked big spacious cars. And yes, one of their shaper offerings would appeal also.

The ultimate Essex status simple.
I’m being nasty as I actually think this new car looks lovely, big improvement over the old shape

If I had bottomless pockets then I would definitely have one of these.

They ride so wonderfully, so why not?
