Is it still available anywhere?
https://vimeo.com/channels/32hours7minutesI looked everywhere but Vimeo!
ETA: I just watched it. I didn’t realise he was talked into trying to beat the record of his own accord, but the fact the original record holders daughter didn’t like the fact everybody said her dad cheated. Great film, looking forward to the new one even more now.

I'll have to watch this at some point, loved the old Cannonball run movies.
Having read this article, it got me wondering what car would be best/ or what I would choose if I were going for the record. As much as I'd love the idea of something exotic, do people think that in this day in age it would actually be better to use a quick Diesel that can still head towards 150mph (if needed) but presumably giving significant range benefits over a fast petrol?
Average speed for the 2013 record (according to this article: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2480654/C... was ~98mph.
The CL55 used in 2013 had twin 22 Gallon tanks fitted + The original 27 gallon tank for a range of around 800 miles, one would assume that a Diesel Barge fitted with equivalent tanks should be able to stretch towards or beyond 1200 miles per fill up?
