Presumably against the rules but:

Monaro VXR
VXR8
Maloo

Close, but strictly speaking the proper versions of those cars are Holden Special Vehicles and have more in common with a Corvette than any Vauxhall.
If you're saying that, then the VX220 is an Elise wink Strictly speaking the only Vauxhall part of the VX220 is the engine, and if that makes it a Vauxhall then the first Elise was a Rover and the current one a Toyota! Which they aren't, of course.
Oh, I'm not sure about that one. As far as I remember the Elise Series 2 would never have been if it wasn't for Vauxhall's investment in the safety side of things and the 2.2 was a Lotus designed engine.

I might be very very wrong though.

Astra arctic limited edition.

A friend has one of these from new, mint condition VERY low mileage, I suspect it will be worth serious money in a few years.
Nah, completely worthless, all of these had terrible paintwork when they left the factory don't you know, overspray behind panels, inconsistent paint thickness on the door shuts..
What total rubbish, and I've seen plenty on here over the years.rolleyes

Two shouts so far for the Prince Henry, good call but I'd be going for a 30-98, one of the first and best British sportscars ever built.

Opel Kadett C Coupe preferably in that colour scheme

Vauxhall Calibra Turbo in that blue, with no spoiler or naff bodykit add ons (just like my old one)

Vauxhall Astra GTE 16v in white

Honourable mentions also to the Chevette HSR, Nova Sport, Carlton and Omega

If we are talking road cars only then:

VX220 Turbo
'Lotus' Carlton
Monaro
Swap the Monaro for the VXR8 and I think I’d be happy as a pig in st.

Have sort of owned two of them, first car was a Viva so lesser powered firenza, VX is in the garage but Maloo is just a dream for now.

New Astra 1.6T (preferably an Elite in beige) for daily duties
Monaro for general arsing around
VX220 for B road blasting

I’m afraid I’m too young to have any idea about Vauxhalls older than the turn of the century laugh

I own 10 at the moment but am having a clear out....
The ones I’m keeping are:
Holden Commodore SS
Manta SR*
Bedford CF*
VX220
Opel Rekord Van*
The starred ones are the 3 I’d keep if pushed as I won’t find another.

So if anyone is interested in 2 Carlton estates, 2 Bedford CF2s, a Manta hatch get in touch!

A supercharged VX220 2.2 will do for me thanks.
Ok, I'll also take an Opel GT.
And an Adam to pick up the kids from school.

It's tough, as Vauxhall is the turd of the car world. No one actively wants to own a Vauxhall. Those who do, I don't want to meet.

VX220 - great, but not really a Vauxhall
Monaro - great, but not really a Vauxhall
Lotus Carlton - great, a Vauxhall, but one that is only better as another company sorted it.

Far too many stters in Vauxhalls past and present. It's motoring, but nothing else. Only diamonds in the rough are ones that have had intervention from other brands.
