I can actually work out where in Bradford that photo is taken. I wouldn't be buying anything from those inner city areas.
Here and i agree - https://www.google.com/maps/@53.7991376,-1.7562743...
2005 A8 4.2, £3195 with 112k and FSH apparently. These are increasingly appealing.

Someone has taken a disliking to my off side rear light.
Does anyone have a top tip of where I can get a new or second hand S211 rear light cluster please?
I usually use ebay for parts like that these days - so many breakers out there.Does anyone have a top tip of where I can get a new or second hand S211 rear light cluster please?
It was LED, and hopefully will be here on Monday.
Thanks for replying chaps

As does 'Bradford', 'maintained regardless of cost' (how would they know what works were advised?) and the corresponding MOT history for the last two years. I'm out.
EDIT: The roof box looks non-standard, too
I wouldn’t buy a car with England flags on the plates, because people who put those on are not people I want to meet. EDIT: The roof box looks non-standard, too

The Range Rover script on the tailgate looks too high. Maybe resprayed due to corrosion treatment. My L322 tailgate corroded and at the time it was a lot younger than that and with under half the mileage
I’ve had my shed/barge (W163 ML270 CDI) for about a year now, so I might as well pass on my experiences! If you hate 4x4s, this may not be of interest
It has needed front brake pads and discs, engine oil and filter and I’ve just changed the thermostat and of course coolant. Thermostat was £60.60 inc VAT from my local Mercedes dealership.
Mpg has been 26-27mpg day to day and 32-34mpg on a longer run.
I’ve become quite attached to this car. I couldn’t ask for a better car to run around. I don’t have to worry about its condition as it was already terrible and it’s very comfortable and just nice to use. The climate control is excellent in cold or hot weather. It tows very well too. All in all, very good experiences from my first Mercedes. I doubt it’ll be my last! Everyone told me that these cars break expensively every three minutes so I’m touching wood to hope it gives me a few more years.
Maybe I’ll try an S-Class next time
ETA: as some will remember, I also had to replace a headlight unit, but that wasn’t the car’s fault. Maintenance is very easy. I changed that alone in five minutes (not an exaggeration) using only a 10mm socket in the Oulton Park paddock

If the photo were taken on a shingle driveway, outside a nice cottage in a Bradford village, I'd think differently.

Funnily enough I've also found those with Welsh and Scottish numberplate flags not to be entirely my kind of people but to nothing like the same extent as the England flag people.
I quite like the EU one because it means no annoying stickers/magnets when you drive on the continent though!
It's not *entirely* thread, but if someone knew of an E46 Clubsport in velvet blue for sale with a great service history, all receipts etc (and Spanish, naturally) would there be any thread interest?
The sale of the Clubsport would then allow the current owner to buy a recently pranged 760i...

It's very brown... and the ad appears to have been written by a wasp operating Google translate... but I still would.
