What's that then?
Standard gearbox that was fitted to just about every BMW and Audi and plenty of other cars of the era.

I thought this thing meant it was an SMG... No idea why.

Mid thread 3.6 Daimler with low miles and decent MOT history? Couple of paint bubbles but looks good otherwise.

14p Lexus thread is up, for those interested. And I found the heated rear seats.

With the LS430 away to its new (fellow threadist!) home.

It’s Sunday morning, I’m on a random train to nowhere.

Can only mean one thing, new barge day!

Anyone else on a trip today?

Good news, what are you getting?
Back home after a *very* long day! Super high mileage thread favourite.

Under thread min MB 320 estate, light on photos but appears to have the cooled front seats. 200k miles, but R2 on the stereo suggests an easy life.

E240 isn't it? Decent spec though and a bargain price.

Continuing the Barge 7 theme

This 2007 730d is LWB and on 100k Miles

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

Bog standard silver in black

Seems like a lot of car for beginning with a 3, but the door card at the handles look like it’s maybe been 100k miles of 2mile journeys and the driver’s seat looks flat as a flat thing compared to my E class on the same miles.

Clocked from Clockland? It’s a shame as it’s a mile muncher with probably more LWB space inside than an Eclass estate boot.

That en-route shot - ie pre custard - should be a new PH thread.

It’s a 2006 XJ8 Sovereign LWB
- 231k miles
- Fresh MOT as of yesterday
- Very comprehensive history
Mega spec;
- 2+2 Configuration
- Rear Entertainment Pack (DVD player, TV etc)
- Heated Seats & Wheel
- Comfort/wafty spec 18” wheels
- Double Glazing
- etc etc

I do a lot of miles so it could see 250k (hopefully) relatively soon.

It’s taken it’s miles extremely well. Seat bolsters are great, the bodywork has a few ally corrosion areas but nothing to worry about.

Interested to see how it compares to my previous v8’s

What does that sort of car go for with that mileage?
Love high mileage cars.
