RE: Ferrari F355 Modificata | Driven

Finally actually listened to it... Wow what a disappointment, it sounds like an angry 4 pot, I'm sure it's nicer in person but I had such high hopes.
When I think F355, this is the noise (and wonderfully gratuitous blipping, fk your twin clutch nonsense) I think of

I've done something similar with my 430. Yes newer car but it has resulted in a much more visceral experience. Mods include remap, airboxes, exhaust, suspension, seats, battery, brakes, wheels, splitter, rear deck, diffuser and wrap. Result is lower, lighter, firmer, faster. I've had a couple people question messing with a Ferrari but it's a much better car for me because of it. We are at the end of an era and I intend to wring every bit of enjoyment out of this car before it's too late. Over 30,000 miles now so it's worthless anyhow.
It is a lovely car and clearly a lot of thought has gone into the process of modifying it. I had good fun trying to hang on to you in my MR2 turbo in Scotland earlier this year. James Junior said:

Cheers James - I could say the same about chasing you through those hills! SturdyHSV said:
That's immediately the coolest 430 I've ever seen, good on you
I watched this video when it first came out. Not a fan.
Would have been better getting a 355 Fiarano Handling Pack and throw a Tubi on it.
IMHO of course.
(For those who don't know the Fiarano comes with most of the Challenge bits but on a "normal" 355, i.e steering rack, roll bars, different suspension settings in the ECU)

Taking a 137db car on a road trip sure is brave.
My 355 with a capristo exhaust gives me a headache after 30 mins of driving it - what a sound though
Mine has a Capristo too. The first time I took my wife out in it we got stuck in a queue on the M25 for an hour - she has never liked it since. When it gets going it sound more like a Formula 1 car than Formula 1 cars do now. My 355 with a capristo exhaust gives me a headache after 30 mins of driving it - what a sound though
