What's the fastest 'feeling' car you've been in?
Discussion
Been fortunate enough to experience most cars including Ferraris, Lambos, Paganis etc... Most sensory overload was in an Exige S1 with 300hp+ Honda supercharged conversion on the Mulsanne Straight at Le Mans. Proper tunnel vision moment and the noise...... Perhaps not the outright fastest, but when squeezed inside (with a cooler full of beers on my lap, naturally, it surpassed most other things for me.

Back in the day when Alfa 156 was available for a test drive. It was in middle of the winter here in Finland. I happily coasted along and then suddenly I had to do emergency breaking. Didn't even notice that I was speeding (about 150-160) while others were doing about 60-70. (Two lane highway and I didn't see them because of the curve)
Alfa156 with 2.5 motor. Brilliant, brilliant car
Is that not therefore an example of a car that doesn’t feel as fast as it is? Alfa156 with 2.5 motor. Brilliant, brilliant car
Agree that they’re lovely cars though. Only Alfa I’ve ever driven for my sins.
Fastest feeling and probably the fastest thing iv'e been in on track is a Yardie friends Evo with stickerd up bullet holes on it ...
The actual fastest apart from the Supercar madness is Mapped RS6's...
Actually scratch that.... Just remembered (how can i forget) a good friends... devlish 996 turbo @800hp Now that is the fastest feeling thing i've ever been in....

I suspect the answers to this question are always going to be subjective, as they depend on each different persons experiences and of course what type of car/s each different person has been in.
I remember seeing a YouTube video of a 911 (haven't a clue what one it was) having a ding dong with some superbikes on a motorway at night, I am guessing in America somewhere, where the bike riders were trying to get the 911 driver to give it some beans..
He finally did, and left the bikes for dead, after which he let them catch up again, and did it again, and again, and even after letting the bikes to accelerate away, it just blasted away, caught all the bikes up, and passed them all again. It was quite surprising, but on an arrow straight motorway, I guess anything might be possible.

I'm not that well versed in extremely fast cars but my CLS63 was quite a feeling when I first opened it up.
Having driven 260bhp hot hatches, I thought it would feel quick but, 'how much quicker can it really feel'. Quite a bit apparently. I think it's the fact that it's comfortable and very well spec'd but it really shifts. I know it's 510bhp in a relatively big car but it goes well.

I have owned my tuscan for a few years now and i still think it feels ridiculous, mainly because of the 100% commitment you need while driving it to the red line. In a straight line it held onto a 997 turbo which i was impressed with but in todays world theres a lot faster certainly. If you hit a bump at say 120 and the steering wheel isn't straight it will require some correction! Ok while in the moment but when you stop it feels like you just nearly died
I recently went in a 750bhp gtr and it was un fking real The amount of tarmac it needed to reach over 150 was something else, from the passenger seat it felt very lairy and nothing like i expected a gtr to feel like, it felt alive and brutal.
Going by all the comments though i feel i need to blag a trip in my neighbours tesla!
