For me the top three I’ve been in are Ferrari 550 maranello; Audi Rs6 with upgrade to 700 bhp and a mclaren Senna; but surprisingly the fastest feeling acceleration was a 2 ton Tesla X in ludicrous mode have never felt anything that fast zero to 60.

Only as a passenger, a Porsche 996 GT2 which had been worked on some, circa 610 BHP, vicious acceleration and even more impressive to me was the vicious stopping power with the Carbon Ceramic brakes it was wearing. Would love to own one but the lotto hasn't allowed me to as of yet.

For many years it was my first car, a Cosworth powered Lotus 7, even after owning faster cars many years later it was still the fastest feeling car I'd ever experienced. Then about ten years ago, a mate of mine who was a fecking useless driver and had no sense of driving to the conditions bought a Gallardo. There was no question it was fast, but the sense of imminent and horrible death when we were out in it made it seem truly the fastest thing I'd ever been in.. I still have bad dreams about it....

Probably in my early car days I think that feeling of speed was emphasised to me when sitting as a passenger in the right hand side of a Lancia Integrale when the turbo kicked in.

Quite happy with my VW Scirocco GTX until then.

Lotus 7. It wasn't actually going that fast, but it accelerated like a motorbike, and when your backside is about 3 inches from the road and there are no doors it sure *feels* fast.

Driven a lot of fast stuff. GTR,911 turbo, Huracan, f458, etc etc
But for me.....
MP4-12c. Partly because just being RWD. Mate said don’t nail it in 1st or 2nd. Yeah yeah. Up a slip road 2nd gear. Felt the car go sideways and so glad the gizmos were on. Not as quick as some of the others but could really feel it.
Huracan felt solid even with the foot mashed until red line of 6th same as GTR

Not related to cars the fastest feeling acceleration would be sky diving 0-120mph in about 6 seconds. Never again.

My supercharged Ariel Atom 3 - the rising intensity of the screaming supercharger next to your ear, the roar of the wind as it slices through the car, the strain on your neck as the helmet is pushed back, the sheer terror and exhilaration you feel as the world turns into a blur, right up to and beyond 130...

The previous owner replaced it with Huracan Performante - he said the Atom felt faster.

Tesla P100D, just because of that instant push back in your seat with no warning or drama feeling.

Anyone who hasn't travelled in a modded Mini at 100+mph hasn't experienced the true terror that speed can produce.

You can feel every single one of those mph in your bowels

First stoopid fast "car" was a pal's 6 wheel kart with Triumph 650 Bonny engine/gearbox, Mini hydraulic brakes, Austin something diff/axle. Failed on a runway when the axle bent after about the 4th run.
Then 30 years of bikes. The world seems bloody quiet at 175mph on the autobahn - then, st I'm closing on that truck at 115!
Then my CLS55.
Then my CLS55 mapped to 520bhp and 770n/m. Back on the 'bahn last August and accelerating nicely through 170 when I find traffic.
I think what felt fastest was the kart and the bikes, not on the 'bahn but somewhere like the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse.
Happy days always.

As a passenger - a supercharged Aerial Atom. I couldn't believe how someone could manage to drive such a quick car!

As a driver - a Mclaren MP12c. It just felt so fast and stuck to the track really well.

Passenger ride in work colleague Ford, possibly a basic Escort. To prove his "skills" and that I really should get a car for winter rather than keep riding my YZF, said colleague drove like an utter utter utter utter bellend, genuine drove like he stole it, thought I was going die in that ropey stbox. Following that experience pretty much everything else is a bit meh.

Ultima GTR, supercharged, 600 odd bhp at the tyres.
Thought I was going to lose a kidney the first time I gave it the WOT.

An RS7 using launch control, light headed feeling for me & the passenger followed by spontaneous laughter. However a 420bhp 200SX Norris Designs demo felt ‘fast’ not only because of the acceleration but the phenomenal braking power of the uprated system - I was ghost braking in the passenger seat thinking I was going to be part of the scenery 😂

1995 Caterham JPE (Jonathan Palmer Evolution). 250hp Swindon tuned VX redtop on Webber Alpha throttle bodies as standard. An explosive road-going race car made in very limited numbers. Worthy of its world record 0-60 & 0-100-0 world records (before being knocked off the top spot in the Guiness book by the F40 & McL F1). The fastest feeling car I have ever driven, if you can find one, try it, its legendary and a triumph of British engineering.

I was very happy with 250bhp in my 200SX(Norris Designs as well). I can't imagine how awesome 420bhp feels for sure! thumbupdriving
