No.

Tuono Factory and a lot of tyres.

It's horrible and an utterly ghastly pastiche of the original imo.

What exactly does the current incarnation of ARIEL have to do with the original? As far as I can tell, absolutely nothing so this history bit is nothing but sepia tinted bunkum.

I like the bike though. Even if it is a bit shiny.

Going by the comments here the reception of this Ariel is a bit patchy.

1). That’s beautiful, absolutely stunning

2). If you think of 70 hours hand polishing at £100/hr = £7,000 then it actually seems decent value to me

3). I get that people will buy it just to stare at / as art (and I get that I’ve been off bikes for a while) but what would you actually ride it for? A ‘muscle’ bike for show in town? Surely too heavy for track days, surely lacking enough comfort (and lacking in wind protection) to be a tourer?

4). What would you do with all of that head angle adjustment?
I currently ride a Multistrada. My partner loves riding pillion. But, it’s a sports tourer - all plastic and efficiency.

I’ve been on the list for an Ace since it was announced back in 2014, but health issues and other things have got in the way. This bike will probably have me pushing the button. What would I ride it for? It’s a fast naked, like any other fast naked - it’s not a track day bike.

To use a car analogy, when would you use a roadster?

The reviews suggest it’s a fast, very nice handling bike, with the appeal of being bespoke. What’s not to like?

For me it’s just overpriced and outgunned by something like the Tuono. The only real USP is the rarity and the fact you can customise it. But it’s never ever worth that sort of cash in my opinion. Sounds nice though smile

Looks over designed and fussy to me. How much does it weigh as I can't see in the write up?
