Exactly the look well-avoided.

Shocking that FR layout coupes have a similar side profile. Not.

if that is really Kerb weight, then I am quite excited about it
I think you could literally bet the house it will be vastly heavier than '1470kg kerbweight'....
according to the top gear article it is dry weight - which sounds a lot more plausible unfortunately

To me it is very similar to a Mercedes AMG GT-S, with an Aston Martin front. Hint of 2018/19 Corvette too. Next question is cost and production numbers?

Yep, it's a long time since I've seen a Ferrari that I'd like to buy. Very nice indeed.

Hilariously Autocar have just updated their article with a starting price "just over £85,000" which got me gasping but I think they missed a 1 off the front as Shmee has said 200,000 euro in his video wink
Autocar have now updated their article to say from £175,000 so similar price to a DB11 AMR, Bentley Continental GT W12 and AMG GT-R Pro so this will be competition that none of them needed with luxury car sales struggling at the moment.
Also about £10k more that the convertible Portofino which had been alluded to hence the slight increase in power to justify the price hike I guess.
At least the £130k AM Vantage V8 can breath a little but still makes an F-Type SVR the near 600hp coupe bargain at around £100k.

Pity about the addition of that sixth digit.

Dan P. did ask: "Where is Europe's Corvette?"

And at "just over £85,000" this lovely coupe would have been a fitting reply indeed. biggrin

But it was not to be.

Yikes, red doesn't suit it at all!
I like the press shots but not sold on the front TBH.
Side, rear and interior are lovely though. TDF blue for me I think.
Not all Ferraris look good in red!

This is probably the worst culprit.

For some reason 4-seat Ferraris don't suit red..is it because they're less racy than the 2-seaters?

For a bit I was thinking the 365/400/412 design had finally come into its own...but again it seems to have dipped into ugliness...much like the current Ferrari range!

Again Ferrari is not part of FCA (PSA) anymore so there is no they here. Ferrari make business decisions independently of whatever Maserati does.

I applaud them for turning back on the aero bits but it looks way too bland and generic.

And to me it goes to show what a beautiful design the F-Type is, because this car looks great imho.
With all the ott designs of supercars with the naffness of squeaky clean office boys or rich oap's getting out of them this car is a refreshing change which could cater for anyone.
Understated is the new cool!

Hmmm, seeing more pics I think, on balance, I don't like it much (on pics).

Rear is nice, interior is fab, but side profile is too bland (that side indicator looks lost), the front overhang is too long, and don't like the McL 720S style headlights
