Rory Reid doing some nice work for the Auto trader channel now I like his presenting style, always felt he got short changed on Top Gear seemed to mostly be given the less interesting stuff to review.
Sorry, he was terrible in top gear. That’s all I’ll say. He might not have been perfect but what he was was someone with a genuine passion for driving unlike the current 2 wacky, hilarious, lad-banter entertainment muppets now working alongside Harris.

LLF popped up on my feed yesterday. I know he's not popular here but crikey he's done well. 280k subs and regularly pulling impressive viewing figures. Must be one of the best performing uk channels?
I think people enjoy watching them for the uncomfortable look on the owners face when he absolutely rinses their car. I've only watched a handful of his videos but that is a constant in every one.SVJBalboni said:

This ladies and gentleman is the owner of classic parade. The the 'largest fleet of supercars to hire in the UK' that doesn't own a single car and loves taking peoples money.
He's an absolute cancer.
I went on his site and he has a Sian for rent lol. That should be the biggest red flag that it's a scam site. I also read through the Google reviews for Classic Parade and it seems like he scammed a lot of people out of deposits for cars that didn't exist and his rental company isn't even registered. He's an absolute cancer.
He also made videos about Aleem and wow is this guy messed up. I'm shocked TGE filmed content with him.

There's plenty folk dislike about him / his night cruuuz antics - but when it comes to video production he knows his stuff on how to keep the viewer entertained. His videos are usually well cut, unlike many other youtubers - eg. Joey Essex's cousin: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkVHjj5beOezXpnIJ...

Archie Hamilton cancelling his RS6 and plans to buy one used instead...
I’m now even more confused. His GT3 RS is still for sale as well with Duncan Hamilton.“Should I take delivery of my RS6?” No, scrap it, bin the M8 unless it’s a long term loan, get rid of the A35 and keep the A45 as the only daily whilst putting the rest of the money into racing! I thought that was the point anyway.
At one point, I thought he was cutting down to one car to put money into racing, but he's going to have 4 cars at this rate... plus buy a new racing simulator, and go race with Porsche. Hopefully he won't hit a wall early on like he did in Paris last year
Ultimately it’s his choice, I hope he keeps the cars he wants not what his audience wants

Slightly odd justification for the content that it's well produced. Kind of like saying Fred West was a good builder.
Well, the thing is that his channel gets good numbers, and the response was pointing out that while most of us don't like his stuff, it is well enough made that those who do will be inclined to keep watching.Perfectly reasonable point I'd say.
Obviously catering for an audience much bigger than most YTers.
When you think about it cars are a pretty boring subject really. I say that as a devout petrolhead and I work in a very specialist area of the sector. I love my bit of it but most other areas I could take or leave.
That said although a bit of a bussmans holiday Tyrells classic workshop is now a firm favourite. Him and Harry are just brilliant.

Absolutely loved watching Harry spinning the crank on his freshly built engine. Those videos are great. Going back to the LLF vs Harry for driving standards that was mentioned before, the more Harry videos I watch, the more I see speed limits be broken. I'm working my way through his older videos and whilst they are great, if not the best, I can see what the other poster meant when drawing comparisons and suggesting double standards. I've watched a few LLF videos, and the performance of the vehicle is paramount to the video, perhaps more so than Harry/his audience. It's a little bit more section 59 with LLF, but all the same as far as the law is concerned.
I would like to think the police would be quite binary should an issue arise from any of those videos. If you're posting content online showing that you're breaking the law, it's as simple as that...
I always thought action would only be taken following an incident, but Joe's charges show that they can happen to anyone, at anytime. My local police has a service now which you can upload dash cam footage to. I wonder how many submissions they get per month... and how many YouTubers get 'grassed up' using the same service?
It'd be good to get a '2020' response from YouTubers who do post this kind of content, to know how they feel about posting these videos since the trouble that Joe Achilles had. Anyone?
Harry tends to go to 60 and cut away if the speedo is in shot but if he's going over it's not much.
Bearing in mind they never got done for drifting round bends for Evo photos for 20 years I don't see him doing anything that would be regarded as reckless or even anything on film that would be prosecutable?

Sorry, he was terrible in top gear. That’s all I’ll say. You’d have to be trying to provoke a reaction to suggest that the driving in LLF and Harry’s garage videos is in any way similar.
I do find the LLF videos entertaining but I fear the standard of driving and speeds involved will catch up with him one day, hopefully before someone is injured or worse.
I find it hard to believe that the Police are not taking an interest in some of the LLF content.

Won't be long till another one of these Vloggers is involved in a serious crash, mark my words.
TRHamza was lucky to be alive after his crash last year.

Wasn't the above driver in that video a Vlogger too?
Madness.

Adam LZ drifting his 350Z around Cleetus' Freedom Factory was pretty entertaining, nice to see a collab between those two too. Much prefer watching either of them than the UK 'Supercar' lot
I am really enjoying the Desoto Speedway videos. I grew up in Bradenton, Florida where the Desoto Speedway is located and spent Friday nights with friends watching track events before it closed. I was in Florida a week or so ago and swung by to look at old haunts etc, unaware that it had been bought by Cleetus. I’m looking forward to seeing the progress.
